NCAC fall sports weekly releases for the week ending on Sunday, September 24th, which include up-to-date conference standings, weekly schedules, team notes and Player of the Week selections, are now available online.

There was just one NCAC school in action last weekend on the cross country circuit as Denison made the trip to New England for the Williams College Purple Valley Classic in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Both teams finished 22nd in their respective team standings against several of the nation’s top teams. There are three events on the NCAC schedule this weekend, highlighted by the six Ohio-based schools traveling to Cedarville, Ohio, for the 2017 All-Ohio Championships. Complete Release

Kenyon (5-0, 8-1) remained the lone unbeaten team in NCAC play and sits atop the league standings after defeating Ohio Wesleyan (0-5, 2-6) and Wittenberg (3-2, 5-3) last weekend. The Ladies’ eight wins through their first nine games marks just the second time the program has hit that mark dating back to 1986, most recently done in 2015. Complete Release

With two full weeks of NCAC football action in the books, four teams remain undefeated in league play, including Denison, DePauw, Wabash & Wittenberg. However, one of those teams will be handed their first loss this Saturday as the premier matchup on the conference slate is a 7:00 p.m. kickoff in Springfield, Ohio, between the Big Red & the Tigers. Complete Release

Following the first full weekend of North Coast soccer action, five teams have logged conference wins with Wabash (6-2-0, 1-0-0), Kenyon (5-2-2, 1-0-0), Ohio Wesleyan (5-3-0, 1-0-0), Wooster (5-4-0, 1-0-0) and Denison (3-5-0, 1-0-0) sitting atop the standings with three points each. Wooster (4-2-2, 1-0-0), Kenyon (3-4-1, 1-0-0) and Allegheny (3-5-0,1-0-0) are tied atop the standings with three points each after collecting NCAC victories on the first full weekend of conference play. Hiram (2-5-1, 0-0-0), the lone conference team without NCAC action, will open its league schedule this weekend against DePauw (1-6-0, 0-1-0). Complete Release

The league portion of the NCAC volleyball schedule kicked off last weekend with DePauw, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg all opening the slate with conference wins. Through the first four weeks of action, all nine NCAC squads own overall records of .500 or better, which includes a trio of 11-win squads in Wittenberg (11-0), Hiram (11-5) and Wooster (11-7). There are four conference matches on the schedule this week, led by Wittenberg hosting Ohio Wesleyan on Friday night. Complete Release
