Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week – Fred Brou - Denison
Junior Fred Brou (Lawrence, Kan./Lawrence) scored a career-high 22 points and hit the game-winning basket with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to send Denison to an 80-79 win over Case Western Reserve on Tuesday night. The forward also added seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks on the night to give the Spartans their first loss of the season (3-1).
Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week – Kylie Orr, Wooster
Junior Kylie Orr (Newport, Ky./Newport) posted a career-high 28 points to lead Wooster to a 68-62 win over Penn State Behrend last week. The gaurd hit four free throws down the stretch to secure the win for the Scots and finished the game 10-for-16 from the floor and 3-for-7 from beyond the arc. Orr also added five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Through four games, Orr leads the 3-1 Scots at 18.3 points per game.
NCAC Milestones & Records (Nov. 19 - Nov. 25)
Allegheny, Men’s Basketball - Allegheny Men’s Basketball hit a program-record 20 three-pointers in a 97-52 victory over Geneva on Tuesday, Nov. 20.
Wabash, Men’s Basketball - Wabash broke the school record for made three-point baskets on Tuesday, Nov. 20, hitting 21 triples in a 119-33 victory over Boyce College. The previous high mark was 16 against Hiram College set in 2012.
