Ohio Wesleyan University junior Kyle Hogan (Centerburg) has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for the week of Oct. 29, it was announced by D3football.com.
Hogan, a defensive end for the Battling Bishops, was named to the Team of the Week as a special-teams player. This is the second consecutive week and the third time during his career that Hogan has been recognized as a special-teams player on the D3football.com Team of the Week.
Hogan blocked 2 kicks in Ohio Wesleyan's 22-13 win at Oberlin on Saturday. He blocked a 31-yard field goal attempt late in the second quarter to preserve a 14-0 Ohio Wesleyan lead. After Oberlin had scored to pull within 20-13 with 3:37 left in regulation time, Hogan blocked the PAT try, which was returned for a defensive extra point that increased the Bishop lead to 22-13. The 2 kicks raised Hogan's total to 5 blocked kicks in his last 2 games.

Jake Page, Wabash
Sophomore safety Jake Page continues to pick up recognition for his defensive efforts on Saturday, earning a place on the D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware.
Page intercepted two passes in the Wabash 28-21 overtime victory at Wittenberg Saturday. He picked off a pass in the fourth quarter to help maintain a 14-7 lead for the Little Giants at the time, then secured the victory with an interception on the final play of overtime to end Wittenberg's offensive possession. Page also made nine tackles in the game, second-most for a Wabash player.
Page is the second Little Giant named to the D3football.com weekly honor roll. He joins Austin Hoover, who earned a place on the Week Three Team of the Week at running back.
