WOOSTER, Ohio - For the second time of his career, The College of Wooster's Jacob Lewis was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, the popular website dedicated to NCAA Div. III football announced on Tuesday morning.
Lewis emerged as one of Wooster's offensive heroes during Saturday's 28-21 win over Hiram College. The junior hauled in nine catches and logged a career-high 161 yards. Lewis' most important catch came with 4:48 remaining, and it was a 3-yard go-ahead touchdown reception.
On the season, Lewis now has a career-high 545 yards on a career-best 34 receptions.
Lewis was previously honored by D3football.com for his play against Allegheny College in 2017. In that game, the then-sophomore went for 90 stripes on four receptions.
Wooster's now had an honoree on the D3football.com Team of the Week in consecutive weeks. Last week, junior D'Andre Brown earned a spot on the team for his career day against Oberlin College.
Wooster (4-3, 3-3 North Coast Athletic Conference) is back in action on Saturday, Oct. 27 at home against Kenyon College (0-7, 0-6 NCAC). Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

Kyle Hogan, Ohio Wesleyan
DELAWARE, Ohio - Ohio Wesleyan University junior Kyle Hogan (Centerburg) has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for the week of Oct. 22, it was announced by D3football.com.
Hogan, a defensive end for the Battling Bishops, was named to the Team of the Week as a special-teams player.
Hogan blocked 3 kicks to keep the Bishops within striking distance in Saturday's game at Denison. He blocked point-after attempts after the first 2 Big Red touchdowns, keeping Ohio Wesleyan within 6-0 and 12-3 respectively. During the third quarter, he blocked a field goal attempt to hold the score at 12-3.

Ryan Hallinan, Denison
GRANVILLE, Ohio - Denison first-year safety Ryan Hallinan was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week after helping the Big Red to a 27-10 victory over Ohio Wesleyan.
Hallinan recorded eight tackles and a half tackle-for-loss. His 63-yard interception return for a touchdown with Ohio Wesleyan driving late in the second quarter sent Denison into the locker room with a 12-3 lead.
Hallinan's pick-six was the first for a Denison player since the 2014 season. The rookie leads the team in tackles with 45 and is second on the team with 3.5 tackles-for-loss. He has also totaled one interception, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.
This is the third D3football.com Team of the Week winner of the 2018 season. The offensive line was recognized after their performance against Wittenberg and punter Calvin Montgomery was honored after his showing in the victory over DePauw.
Denison is 5-2 and currently ranked in the "others receiving votes" column of the AFCA Division III Top-25 poll. They travel to Hiram this Saturday (Oct. 27) for a 1 p.m. kickoff against the Terriers.
