North Coast Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week – Nov. 25

Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Jack Davidson, Wabash

Junior Jack Davidson (Fishers, IN/Hamilton Southeastern) led Wabash to the Nicholas Investments Tournament title and earned tournament MVP honors as part of a three-win week for the Little Giants. He scored a game-high 34 points in Friday's 137-131 win over Greenville to help Wabash break the school record for points scored in a game. He then netted 23 points in the championship game against Carroll on Saturday. Davidson posted a 19-point effort against Earlham earlier in the week.

Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week – Zoe Soilis, Allegheny

Allegheny senior Zoe Soilis (Sarver, PA/Freeport) led the Gators to a 91-82 win over Penn State Behrend with a career-high 34 points. She shot 6-of-9 from three-point range while also connecting on 10-of-19 shots from the floor. For the week, she averaged 22 points and three rebounds across three games while extending her double-digit scoring streak to five games.

Men's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week – Connor Rumpit, Kenyon

Kenyon senior Connor Rumpit (Brookfield, WI/Brookfield Central) racked up three event wins during the three-day West Virginia University Invitational. He won the 500-yard free (4:26.11), the 1,650 free (15:33.43) and was a part of the winning 800 free relay team (6:38.19). Additionally, Rumpit scored a third-place finish in the 200 free (1:39.75). All four events were NCAA “B”-cut times, with the 500 and 1,650 free events along with the 800 free relay registering as the quickest among conference and Division III athletes this season.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week – Tyler Mansfield, Ohio Wesleyan

Ohio Wesleyan senior Tyler Mansfield (Columbus, OH/Bexley) took home three individual first-place trophies and helped the Battling Bishops to four more relay victories this weekend at the Corbiere-Merion Invitational. Manfield won the 100-yard butterly (58.90), 50 free (24.61) and 100 free (53.70) along with swimming a leg of the winning 200 medley relay (1:50.35), 400 medley relay (4:05.29), 400 free relay (3:42.65) and 800 free relay (8:07.34) events.



NCAC Milestones & Records (Nov. 18 - Nov. 24)

Kenyon, Women’s Basketball - In the Ladies’ first game of the week, a 64-63 win at Muskingum University, Paige Matijasich (Pickerington, OH/Pickerington North) scored 25 points and surpassed the 1,000-point milestone for her Kenyon career.

Wabash, Men’s Basketball -
Wabash broke the school record for points scored in a single game in its 137-131 victory over Greenville University at the Nicholas Investments Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday. The two teams also combined for a conference record 268 points, breaking the old record of 251 combined points set by Wooster (150) and Emory & Henry (101) on 11/27/2005.

Wabash, Men’s Swimming & Diving -
Wabash junior Wesley Slaughter (Chesterton, IN/Chesterton) broke the Wabash record in the 50-yard freestyle, turning in a time of 20.61 in prelims of the Gail Moll Pebworth Invitational, breaking the old Wabash record of 20.67.
