Matt Hudson, Wabash Wabash senior quarterback Matt Hudson threw for 325 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Little Giants past archrival DePauw, 32-19, in the 116th annual Monon Bell Classic. His biggest play came late in the fourth quarter when he convinced Head Coach Erik Raeburn to go with a quarterback sneak — a play the Little Giants had not run all season — when the Wabash offense faced a fourth-down play. The play worked to gain the first down and the drive continued, climaxing in a 14-play, 92-yard scoring drive that put Wabash up 32-13. Hudson finished as the second-leading rusher for the Little Giants with 28 yards on four carries without a sack. |

Aaron Huffman, Wittenberg Wittenberg senior quarterback Aaron Huffman rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another to key the Tigers’ best offensive performance in 2009. He finished with 17 completions in 24 attempts for 299 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for 35 yards to help the Tigers clinch at least a share of their ninth North Coast Athletic Conference championship. |

T.J. Salopek, Allegheny Allegheny junior quarterback T.J. Salopek rushed for two touchdowns, including the game-winning score, to rally the Gators back from a 14-point deficit past Wooster, 24-21. With 7:21 left in the fourth quarter, Allegheny forced a Fighting Scot fumble and recovered it at midfield. After going five plays for 47 yards, Salopek kept the ball and made his way into the end zone for a two-yard touchdown scamper to give Allegheny the lead for good. He finished the day with 27-for-43 passing for 312 yards and a touchdown. |

Kody LeMond, Wabash Wabash junior wide receiver Kody LeMond hauled in four touchdowns in a 37-27 win over Wooster to tie the NCAC and Wabash single-game records for touchdown receptions in a game. LeMond, who was the last of 11 NCAC players and one of six Little Giants to equal the mark, finished with 197 total receiving yards on 10 catches, making him the fastest Wabash player to reach the 2,000-yard mark in his career. LeMond moved to seventh on the Wabash all-time receiving yards mark with 2,084. He moved to fifth on the Wabash career TD reception with 25, and is now 14th in career receptions with 120. |

Austin Holter, Wooster Wooster senior quarterback Austin Holter rushed for a career-high 137 yards, highlighted by a 27-yard touchdown with 2:18 remaining, that lifted the Fighting Scots to a 24-20 victory at Washington-St. Louis. With another 272 yards passing, Holter combined for 409 yards of total offense – the second-highest total of his career – and set a school record for completion percentage (min. 25 attempts) with a 26-of-34 performance (.765). During the game-winning drive, Holter was 5-of-6 for 38 yards through the air and rushed it himself the other five plays for 46 yards. |

Matt Hudson, Wabash Wabsh senior quarterback Matt Hudson threw for 335 yards and three touchdowns in the Little Giants’ 31-12 victory over Wshington-St. Louis. He also ran for another 64 yards. His 335-yard effort gives him 7,321 career passing yards, becoming the fourth Wabash player to reach the 7,000-yard plateau. He moves to third on the Wabash all-time passing chart and fourth on the NCAC all-time passing list. |

Wes Chamblee, Wabash Junior wide receiver Wes Chamblee led Wabash to a 37-3 decision over Allegheny with 272 all-purpose yards. He snagged a career-high nine passes for 153 yards, and returned a punt 86 yards for the first score of the game. It was the first punt returned for a touchdown by a Little Giant player since 2007. |

T.J. Salopek, Allegheny Allegheny senior quarterback T.J. Salopek threw for a career best 357 yards to lead the Gators past Oberlin, 22-0. Salopek completed 33 of 39 passes as the Gators remained unbeaten on the season and opened conference play with a victory. His 33 completions is the second-best single-game total in school history, behind Jimmy Savage’s 38 against Wabash on Oct. 7, 2006. |

Kyle Toot, Kenyon Kenyon senior running back Kyle Toot found the endzone four times in the Lords 45-27 win over Hiram. He rushed for 151 yards, averaging 6.6 yards per carry, with three trips to paydirt. He also hauled in three passes for 99 yards ansd a touchdown. His 75-yard receiving TD lifted the Lords to a 31-20 lead over the Terriers. His last two scores of the game, both in the fourth quarter, secured the Lords’ victory. |

Dorian Jenkins, Earlham Dorian Jenkins scored twice, once on a rush and once through the air, to lead the Quakers to a 31-21 victory over Manchester. The win puts Earlham in the “W” column for the first time and lifts the team to a 1-1 record. Jenkins seven-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter helped the Quakers regain the lead at 24-17, then he capped a five-play, 42-yard drive with a nine-yard TD run to give Earlham its decisive 10-point lead. He finished with 234 yards and a touchdown on 12-of-19 passing and also 37 yards rushing on eight attempts, with one touchdown. |

Kyle Wilson, Allegheny (Cambridge Springs, PA/Saegertown) Tackles: 2 total (1 solo, 1 assisted) BreakUps: 2 Interceptions: 1 (57 yards, TD) Gator senior Kyle Wilson scored the third, and final, Allegheny touchdown in the first half of a 27-14 victory over Westminster. His interception in the second quarter, which he ran back 57 yards, helped the Gators secure the victory and their first 2-0 start to a season since 1996. He finished the day with two tackles and two pass breakups. |

Corey Weber, Wittenberg Corey Weber led all players in rushing and was second by one yard in receiving yards to lead Wittenberg to a 37-6 win over Olivet. He finished one yard short of the longest run of the day for either team with a 24-yard rush, and owned the longest reception of the day with a 47-yard catch. He put up the best offensive effort of his career in his first game since a season-ending injury in 2008's opener versus Olivet. He led all players with three touchdowns, starting with the Tiger's first TD just three minutes into the game on a 9-yard burst. |

Bill Aukerman, Denison (Greensburg, PA/Greater Latrobe) Tackles: 4 total (4 solo, 0 assisted) Sacks: 1 (8 yards - solo) Interceptions: 1 (64 yards, TD) Bill Aukerman's 64-yard interception return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter sealed Denison's 37-20 victory over Kalamazoo. Leading 30-20 with 8 minutes to play, Kalamazoo was in Denison territory threatning to cut the lead to three until Aukerman broke in front of a Brandon Luczak pass for his first career interception and first career touchdown. The starting linebacker also posted a sack and four solo tackles. |
