NORTH COAST KICKS OFF 20TH SEASON THURSDAY WITH FOOTBALL MEDIA DAY

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The North Coast Athletic Conference will kick off its 20th year of competition with its annual Football Media Day Luncheon on Thursday, August 7, at the Granville Inn in Granville, Ohio.

The event begins with a hospitality reception at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at 12:30. NCAC Executive Director Dennis Collins and master of ceremonies Marty Bannister of WULM Radio in Springfield, Ohio, will open the speaking portion of the program at 1:15. At that point, each of the conference’s 10 coaches will give a brief preview of their squads for the upcoming 2003 season.

Following the coaches’ presentations, members of the media will have the opportunity to interview each coach on a one-on-one basis. The event concludes with the announcements of the 20th Anniversary All-Decade Football Team, the preseason media and coaches polls and another interview period.
