The Championship is the culmination of the conference's new championship system, which the conference revised in reaction to the NCAA's move to the automatic qualifier system in golf. The 2006-07 NCAC champion will be the top finisher for all rounds completed at the three required, 36-hole, regular-season events and a 54-hole, post-season championship. The champ will earn the conference’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
