Sam Russell, Wabash Senior Sam Russell continued his remarkable comeback from a serious fall last summer. Russell shot his first collegiate hole-in-one on the 14th hole at the Deer Creek Golf Club. Russell led the Little Giants to an eighth-of-10 team finish at the DePauw Small College Classic, posting the team’s top individual score (159) to tie for 34th. |

Patrick Friz, Allegheny Freshman Patrick Fritz led Allegheny to a sixth-place tie at the Vulcan Invitational hosted by California (PA). Fritz shot a two-round 152 to finish in a tie for 20th place among 74 golfers. |

Peter Joyce, Ohio Wesleyan Ohio Wesleyan senior Peter Joyce won medalist honors at the second event of the 2009-10 NCAC Championship Series. After posting a first-round 76, he cut five strokes off his day two total to tie for first with a two-round 147. He claimed medalist honors after winning a playoff. |

Blake Sword, Wooster For the third time this season sophomore Blake Sword shot a round of 75 or lower, this time leading Wooster’s golf team to a ninth place finish at the OAC Fall Invitational Sunday and Monday. Sword shot a 79 on Sunday, and then followed it up with a three-over par 75 on Monday, to earn an eighth-place tie individually with his two-round total of 154 strokes. |

Tommy Harman - Ohio Wesleyan Ohio Wesleyan senior Tommy Harman tied for medalist honors at the NCAC Fall Invitational, hosted by the Battling Bishops at Delaware Golf Club. He finished with two rounds of 73 for a 146 total, tying him for first place in the individual standings. Harman led the defending NCAC Champion OWU squad to a runner-up team finish with a two-round total of 608. |

Bleu George, Wittenberg Wittenberg junior Bleu George made his Tiger debut a memorable one as he carded an opening round 66 - matching 33s on the front and back side on the strength of eight birdies at the Denison Fall Classic. He added a 70 on Day 2 to pick up medalist honors by five strokes. His one-round score of 66 and his two-round total of 136 are the best at Wittenberg in at least a decade. |
