GRANVILLE, Ohio-- Denison University senior Claire Kolff has been named a finalist for the 16th annual Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup as announced by the award's presenting organization, Athletes for a Better World. Kolff is one of four finalists for the award and the only finalist from an NCAA Division III institution. The other three finalists are Bria Matthews (Georgia Tech), Trent Forrest (Florida State) and Ryan Culhane (Dayton).
Four North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) baseball players were named D3baseball.com Preseason All-Americans on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Denison junior Max Lahn (Charlotte, NC/Providence Day School), along with Wooster seniors Dan Harwood (Brecksville, OH/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) and Harry Witwer-Dukes (Monmouth, OR/Blanchet Catholic) were tabbed to the Preseason All-America first team, while Big Red senior Brian McAuliffe (Tuckahoe, NY/Fordham Prep) was tabbed as an honorable mention honoree.
Hiram College Athletic Director Todd W. Hibbs announced on Friday that Chris Kibler has stepped down as head coach of the Terriers' men's basketball program due to personal reasons. Kibler was in his sixth season as head coach, having also previously served three seasons as an assistant coach with the Terriers.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced Tuesday that six former college athletes will receive the NCAA Silver Anniversary Award in recognition of their collegiate and professional achievements. One of those six is Dr. Carla Ainsworth, a 1995 Kenyon College graduate and national championship swimmer.

HIRAM, Ohio - Hiram College Athletic Director Todd W. Hibbs announced on Thursday the appointment of Jack Mrozinski Jr. as the 32nd head coach of the Hiram Terriers football program. Mrozinski joins the Terriers from Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I., where he served as the Defensive Coordinator for the past three seasons.
