February 22
Wooster senior Marty Bidwell (Middletown, OH/Bishop Fenwick), a 6-4 forward, led the Fighting Scots in the final week of the regular season as Wooster clinched its fifth straight North Coast title. Last week, the Fighting Scots defeated Allegheny, 52-39, and Earlham, 95-54. Bidwell totaled 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals against the Gators, then added 16 points, three boards, four assists and a pair of steals in 21 minutes of play against the Quakers. For the week, Bidwell shot 11-for-18 (61.1).

Wabash sophomore Wes Smith (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North), a 6-3 guard, exploded for 31 points in an 80-48 victory over Earlham that snapped the Little Giants' six-game losing skid. It was his third 30+ point game this season. Smith added another 20 in a tight, 63-61, victory over Oberlin, including a pair of clutch free throws with five seconds remaining. In addition to his 51 points, he contributed eight assists in the two contests, and now has a total of 115 in his two-year career, which already puts him in eighth place on Wabash's all time assist list.
February 8
Wittenberg senior Kevin Murray (Carmel, IN/Carmel), a 6-3 wing, totaled 41 points on 14-of-24 (58.3) shooting, and added 14 rebounds as his team went 2-0. The Tigers defeated Earlham, 84-70, and Allegheny, 68-48, and enter the week tied for fourth in the standings with Kenyon. Murray shared the team lead with 26 points against Earlham, on 9-of-15 (.600) shooting from the field, including 4-of-9 (.444) from three-point range.
February 1
Denison junior Chris Luther (Dayton, OH/Oakwood), a 6-4 guard, led the Big Red in a pair of victories last week. He scored 17 points in an 85-57 win over Earlham and then dropped in 20 in a 67-64 win at Allegheny - Denison's first win in Meadville since the 2005-06 season. Luther averaged 18.5 points per game on the week and shot 54 percent from the field (10-for-22). He also connected on 6-of-15 (.400) from long range. He's now led Denison in scoring 11 times this season and tops the roster at 14.7 points per game. The wins last week established a three-game winning streak for Denison, its best since the 2006-07 season.
January 25
Earlham senior Tristian Gregory (Evansville, IN/Harrison), a 6-2 guard, drilled a three-pointer with one second left on the clock to lift the Quakers to a 68-67 win over host Wabash. He led the Quakers with 23 points in the victory and then followed with a 29-point performance in a 109-86 loss to first-place (tie) Wooster. Gregory also posted four assists and four steals against the Fighting Scots. With those 52 points, he moved up to 14th on Earlham's all-time scoring list with 1,349 career points, passing Matt Hall (1993-97, 1,321). The win over the Little Giants was Earlham's second NCAC win of the season and halted an overall eight-game losing skid.

Ohio Wesleyan's Brent Pleiman (Russia, OH/Russia), a 6-8, junior post, scored 20 points during the first half to power the Battling Bishops to an insurmountable double-digit lead in an 80-64 win over Wabash. He netted OWU's first eight points of the game, then scored on his fourth putback of the game to kick off a 12-0 run. Pleiman finished the game with career-bests of 24 points and 11 rebounds. He went 10-for-17 (.588) from the floor and eight of his 11 rebounds came off the offensive glass. He also provided a spark in an 84-70 win over Earlham, scoring to kick off a 13-2 second half run that broke the game open. He finished with eight points on 4-for-4 shooting.

Oberlin's Mike Loll (Davison, MI/Davison), a 6-5, senior forward, averaged 18 points and 9.5 rebounds per game to lead the Yeomen to a pair of victories. He was also deadly at the free throw line, going 14-of-15 in the two games – including a perfect 11-of-11 effort in a 75-62 win over Case. shot 58.8 percent (10-of-17) from the field and 50 percent (2-of-4) from long range. Loll notched his 10th career double-double with 22 points and 11 boards against the Spartans. With 14 points, he was one of four Yeomen in double figures in a thrilling 64-63 win at Denison - the first NCAC win of the season for Oberlin. He also notched three assists, two blocks and a steal for the week.

Wooster's Justin Hallowell (Worthington, OH/Thomas Worthington), a 6-7, freshman forward, scored 19 points in the championship game of the Mose Hole/Kiwanis Classic against Mount Union, and accounted for 13 of Wooster’s first 23 points in the contest. Hallowell led the Fighting Scots to victories over Thiel, 82-63, and the Purple Raiders, 80-61, to win the Mose Hole/Kiwanis Classic, and earned tournament MVP honors.

Allegheny's George Raftis (Pittsburgh, PA/Sewickley Academy), a 6-5, junior forward/center, led Allegheny to a pair of non-conference victories with a combined 42 points and 21 rebounds. Raftis recorded double-doubles in both games, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds in an 89-78 defeat of Penn State Behrend, then added 20 points and 11 boards in an 84-42 defeat of Penn State-Kensington. Raftis shot 18 of 31 (58.1 percent) during the week.

Kenyon's J.T. Knight (Ann Arbor, MI/Pioneer), a 6-1, sophomore guard, helped the Lords to a 70-55 conference-opening win over Wabash. He turned in a balanced performance with 20 points and 10 rebounds, both career highs. He also recorded a team-best five assists, was 7-of-12 from the field (.583) and 6-of-8 (.750) from the charity stripe.

Wabash's Wes Smith (Indianapolis, IN/Lawrence North), a 6-3, sophomore guard/forward, erupted for a career-best 41 points, including 24 in the second half, to lead the Little Giant attack in an 89-63 win over Haonver. It was the eighth-best effort in school history and the most scored by a Wabash player since 2000. He also grabbed eight rebounds, dished two assists, and registered two steals and two blocks.
November 24
Hiram's Chris Roberts (Cleveland, OH/Kennedy), a 6-3, sophomore guard, led the Terriers to a 98-86 season-opening victory over Pitt-Greensburg with 31 points. One of five Terriers to score in double figures, he was 10-of-16 (.625) from the floor, including a perfect 3-for-3 from long range and 8-for-10 (.800) from the free throw line. He also chipped in a rebound, a block, an assist and a steal.
