Allegheny junior Mia Symoniak (East Snyder, NY/Amherst) placed fifth at 
the Waynesburg Invitational. She finished the six-kilometer race in a 
time of 23:33, as the Gators placed third in the 13-team field.

Kenyon senior Jim Boston (Brookfield, WI/Marquette) finished 10th with a 
time of 15:55.20 over five kilometers at Northern Kentucky's Queen City 
Invitational. Kenyon placed fourth in the team standings.

Oberlin senior Ryan King (Glastonbury, CT/Glastonbury) has been named North 
Coast Athletic Conference men's cross country runner of the week for his 
performance at the season-opening Case Western Reserve Bill Sudek Classic 
on Saturday, August 30.

King ran the 8000-meter course in 27:34 and placed 12th of 130 runners in 
the men's race. He lead the Yeomen to a fourth-place finish in the eight-
team field.
