Kevin McCarthy, Wabash Wabash sophomore Kevin McCarthy won the college division race at the Gibson Family Invitational, hosted by DePauw and Rose-Hulman, with a season-best time of 25:42. He finished 17 seconds ahead of the second-place runner. McCarthy, in just his third season of competitive running, posted a time that would have also won the University Division race - Corey Culbertson of Shawnee State won with a 25:52, while Purdue’s Charles White was second at 25:56.

Makorobondo Salukombo, Denison Denison sophomore Makorobondo Salukombo was the first Division III runner to cross the line at the All-Ohio Championships, and was ninth of 269 runners overall. He completed the 8,000-meter course at the Methodist Theological Seminary and Delaware Golf Club in 26:49, leading the Big Red to an eighth-place team finish.

Joanna Johnson, Oberlin Junior Joanna Johnson of Oberlin was the top Division III runner and was third of 285 overall at the All-Ohio Championships. Johnson covered the 5,000-meter course at the Methodist Theological Seminary and Delaware Golf Club in 18:27, leading the Yeowomen to a second-place team finish. |

Terry Workman, Wooster Wooster senior Terry Workman placed 18th in a field of 178 runners to lead the Fighting Scots at the Otterbein Invitational. He completed the eight-kilometer course in 26:54, pacing Wooster to a sixth-of-16 team finish. |

Colleen O'Neil, Wooster Wooster freshman Colleen O'Neil led the Fighting Scots to a third-place team finish at the Otterbein Invitational. O’Neil completed the six-kilometer course in 23:53, good for 11th place individually in a field of 150 runners. |

Chris Marker, Allegheny Allegheny junior Chris Marker placed second in a field of 200 runners at the Calvin College Knight Invitational. He finished the eight-kilometer course with a time of 25:01.3, and was just five seconds behind the individual winner, Zach Ripley of Cornerstone University. Marker led the Gators to the team championship. |

Makorobondo Salukombo, Denison Denison sophomore Makorobondo Salukombo won the individual portion of the 8000-meter GLCA Championship, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan at Liberty Park, for the second straight year. He finished first among 89 runners in a time of 25:45, crossing the finish line 22 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. |

Joanna Johnson Oberlin junior Joanna Johnson was the individual winner in the 5000-meter race at the GLCA Championship, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan at Liberty Park. She finished first among 78 runners and covered the course in 17:48. She crossed the finish line a little over 24 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. |

Donavan White, Wabash Little Giant sophomores Kevin McCarthy and Donavan White combined to win the individual portion of the 48th Wabash Hokum Karem. The Hokum Karem style of running, where each runner races a one-mile loop in relay style for a total of six miles, was created by legendary Wabash coach J. Owen Huntsman in 1962. White and McCarthy finished with a combined time of 28:42, 35 seconds off the meet record and 15 seconds ahead of the second-place duo from Marian. |
