The victory assured the Big Red of at least a share of the 2002 NCAC title. __________________________________________________________________________ April 22, 2002 HARTNETT NAMED NCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wooster junior attacker Colin Hartnett (Canandaigua, NY/Canandaigua Academy) scored eight goals ñ one shy of the school record for a single game ñ and dished out an assist in leading Wooster to a 28-1 drubbing of Washington & Jefferson. __________________________________________________________________________ April 15, 2002 COUGHLIN NAMED NCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Ohio Wesleyan senior Matt Coughlin (Denver, CO/Regis Jesuit) scored seven goals and added eight assists as the Bishops won twice last week, including a non-conference victory over previously undefeated Denison. He scored four goals and had three assists in an NCAC victory over Wooster, and followed that with three goals and five assists versus Denison. __________________________________________________________________________ April 8, 2002 MARTINICH NAMED NCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Kenyon junior Justin Martinich (Bay Shore, NY/Bay Shore) scored four goals and assisted on another to become the Lordsí all-time leading scorer with 212 points. He led the Kenyon to its first NCAC win of the season __________________________________________________________________________ April 1, 2002 STAUNTON NAMED NCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Denison senior midfielder Jon Staunton (Charlottesville, VA/St. Anneís Belfield School) led the Big Red attack in their defeat of the Bishops with three goals and one assist. __________________________________________________________________________ March 25, 2002 MACMASTER NAMED NCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wooster sophomore Mike MacMaster (Hingham, MA/Hingham) tallied 11 points on five goals and six assists in the Scotsí victory over Marietta. He fell one point short of the school record for points in a game.
