Jaffee leads the NCAC with 20 goals in eight games (2.50 goals per game). __________________________________________________________________________ April 12, 2004 Wooster sophomore goalkeeper Courter Shimeall (Worthington, OH/Thomas Worthington) made 12 saves in a 7-5 victory over Ohio Wesleyan, then had 10 more in his team’s 10-5 win over Wittenberg. Wooster defeated Ohio Wesleyan for the first time since 1982. __________________________________________________________________________ April 5, 2004 Oberlin freshman Ian Holljes (San Rafael, CA/Terra Linda) scored five goals and added seven assists, leading the Yeomen to a 2-1 week. He notched the game-winner in a 5-4 overtime decision over Misericordia, and had a goal and five assists in a 10-6 decision over Neumann. He leads the NCAC in scoring with 3.67 points per game through six games. __________________________________________________________________________ March 29, 2004 Ohio Wesleyan sophomore midfielder Kevin Lakani (Riverwoods, IL/Loyola Academy) scored the game-winner, which was one of two scores he recorded in the last four minutes of regulation to lead the Bishops to victory over Denison. Lakani finished with a game-high three goals and one assist. __________________________________________________________________________ March 22, 2004 Wittenberg senior attack Hans Rydquist (Hudson, OH/Hudson) scored five goals in a loss to St. Mary’s. He added four more in his team’s conference- opening victory over Oberlin.
