__________________________________________________________________________ May 1, 2006 Wittenberg senior Cory Windle (Columbus, OH/Worthington Kilbourne) finished his career with an eight-goal outburst in a 16-3 defeat of Washington and Jefferson. It was the third-highest single game goal total in school history. Windle added two assists to total 10 points in the contest. __________________________________________________________________________ April 24, 2006 Sophomore midfielder Chris Eccles (Secane, PA/Monsignor Bonner) had a hand in nine of Ohio Wesleyan's 13 goals in a 13-6 decision over Wittenberg. Eccles contributed six goals and assisted on three others. He then added four goals and three assists in a 25-7 decision over Washington & Jefferson to finish the week with 10 goals and six assists. __________________________________________________________________________ April 17, 2006 Senior Sean Wheeler (Darien, CT/Brunswick School) of Kenyon notched three goals and two assists in the Lords’ 10-3 conference victory over Wittenberg. Wheeler leads the Lords and the conference with 19 assists this season. __________________________________________________________________________ April 10, 2006 Denison senior Ted Douglass (Englewood, CO/Kent Denver) led all Denison attackmen with six goals in two games. He netted a season-high four goals versus Whittier and had a pair in the 11-4 victory over Oberlin which clinched the Big Red at least a share of the NCAC championship. He leads Denison with 22 points and 19 goals this season. __________________________________________________________________________ April 3, 2006 Ohio Wesleyan freshman attacker Karl Zimmerman (Utica, MI/Brother Rice) scored three goals in a 4-1 run early in the second half that broke open a 4-4 tie to lead Ohio Wesleyan past Kenyon, 8-7. __________________________________________________________________________ March 27, 2006 Denison sophomore PJ Hendrick (Newton, MA/Rivers School) scored the game winning goal 1:34 seconds into overtime as the Big Red rallied to defeat rival Ohio Wesleyan, 9-8. In front of a crowd of over 1,100 at Deeds Field, Hendrick finished with two goals and one assist. The win marked the fifth straight OWU-Denison lacrosse game decided by one goal. __________________________________________________________________________ March 20, 2006 Wooster freshman attacker Mark Weschler (Silver Spring, MD/Our Lady of Good Counsel) scored two goals in each of the Scots’ two close losses last weekend. He totalled five points in all, and now leads Wooster in scoring with 15 points on 12 goals and three assists. __________________________________________________________________________
