Outdoor Track Championships

The Ohio Wesleyan men won their fifth overall team title at the NCAC Championships, held at Ohio Wesleyan on May 1-2. The Battling Bishops totalled 236 points to outdistance runner-up Allegheny (150). Wabash (148.5) was third, followed by Oberlin (74) in fourth and Wooster (59) in fifth. Wittenberg (56.5), Denison (50), Earlham (40), Kenyon (4) and Hiram (0) rounded out places six through 10 in the men's field. The Allegheny women claimed their league-leading 13th NCAC crown with 268 points. Ohio Wesleyan wound up second with 199 points, followed by Oberlin (134) in third, Wooster (86) in fourth and Denison (50) in fifth. Earlham (38), Wittenberg (30), Kenyon (12) and Hiram (2) filled out the women's field in places six through nine.
