2010 Combined Events Recap:
Oberlin senior Madeline Schultz won her second straight heptathlon title at at the North Coast Athletic Conference Combined events championship, hosted by Oberlin, April 24-25, while Wittenberg senior Tim Uher claimed the decathlon crown. Schultz totalled 4,044 points through seven events to top second-place finisher Stephanie Mitchell of Ohio Wesleyan (3745). Schulz won the 800 meters and finished second in the 100-meter hurdles, the long jump, the high jump and the 200-meter dash. She also turned in a third-place performance in the javelin and a fifth in the shot. Mitchell crossed first in the 200-meter dash. Uher won three individual events: the 110-meter hurdles, the long jump and the shot. He finished second in the 100-meter dash, high jump, discus and javelin to total 5,455 points. Kenyon's Andrew Borraso finished in second with 5,381 points.
