Senior Kevin Donahue posted his ninth shutout of the season while turning in a brilliant 10 save performance in Denison’s 1-0 win over Kenyon in the NCAC tournament semifinals. He returned with a five-save effort helping Denison to a 2-1 upset over previously unbeaten Ohio Wesleyan. While playing all 1801 minutes this season, Donahue has posted a 0.90 GAA. His nine shutouts are the second-most in DU history. He holds the single-season record with 11 shutouts, set in 2006.

Denison senior Tucker Mauke had a hand in all four of the Big Red’s goals last week. He set up the game-winner in a 2-0 shutout over Earlham and then chipped in an insurance goal of his own. He then broke open a scoreless tie in the 49th minute against Oberlin and added another tally in the 89th minute to lead Denison to a 2-0 victory. Mauke leads the Big Red with five goals and 12 points.

He then followed with both goals in a 2-0 victory over third-place (tie) Denison. Wall leads the Battling Bishops with 10 goals and 22 points this season.

He totaled 11 saves for a 91.7 saves percentage in the two games. In a 1-0 victory over Medaille, he made six saves and a 1-1 overtime tie with Oberlin, he finished with five.

Wabash sophomore Femi Oluyedun acrobaticallydrilled home the game-winning goal with 2:31 left in the second overtime to give Wabash a 2-1 decision over Wooster. The win marks the first time the Little Giants have won their NCAC opener since recording a 2-1 decision at Kenyon in 2005 and was the first home NCAC win since a 3-1 victory over Hiram in 2006.
