Vorenkamp was named the NCAC Tournament MVP. __________________________________________________________________________ November 3, 2002 MADDEN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Ohio Wesleyan freshman Chris Madden (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) scored his first collegiate goal at exactly the right time. He handed the Bishops a 1-0 win over Kenyon and clinched their spot in the NCAC Tournament. __________________________________________________________________________ October 27, 2002 FLETCHER NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Allegheny senior forward Adam Fletcher (LaVale, MD/Fort Hill) netted three goals in two Gator conference wins last week. He scored the gamewinner in a 2-0 win over Oberlin and then accounted for both goals in a 2-0 win over Denison. __________________________________________________________________________ October 20, 2002 MCNULTY NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wabash junior defender Sean McNulty (Ft. Wayne, IN/Bishop Luers) scored the gamewinning goal four minutes into the overtime period in Wabash's 2-1 win over Kenyon. The goal was the first of McNulty's career as a Little Giant. __________________________________________________________________________ October 13, 2002 WALSH NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wittenberg junior forward Mike Walsh (Springfield, OH/North) scored two goals in the final 13 minutes to give the Tigers a 2-1 win over nationally ranked Ohio Wesleyan. The Tigers, playing a man down, had fallen behind, 1-0, midway through the first half. Walsh tied the game with 12:22 left in regulation time by heading a crossing pass into the Ohio Wesleyan goal. His second goal came just under three minutes later. __________________________________________________________________________ October 6, 2002 CONAWAY NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wooster freshman Brian Conaway (Twinsburg, OH/Chamberlain) had an assist on the only goal of the game against Hiram, a 1-0 victory for the Scots, and scored the tying goal with 4:03 remaining in regulation as they went on to tie Ohio Wesleyan, 1-1. __________________________________________________________________________ September 29, 2002 SEAMAN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Junior forward Jason Seaman (Wooster, OH/Wooster) of Earlham scored twice in the Quakers’ 4-1 defeat of Taylor then tallied one in a 2-1 decision over Kenyon. Seaman leads Earlham in scoring and ranks fifth in the NCAC with 1.44 points per game. __________________________________________________________________________ September 22, 2002 SHERIDAN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Kenyon junior midfielder Andrew Sheridan (Cleveland, Hts., OH/Hawken) racked up three goals and two assists in the Lords' two wins last week. He scored two goals and assisted on two others in a 4-1 win over Malone, then scored one more goal in a 3-0 win over Baldwin-Wallace. __________________________________________________________________________ September 15, 2002 MILLIGAN NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK Wooster sophomore Adam Milligan (Orrville, OH/Orrville) notched two goals, including the game- winner in overtime, lifting the Scots past regionally ranked (eighth) Calvin, 3-2. __________________________________________________________________________
