Ohio Wesleyan sophomore goalkeeper Jamison Dague (Bexley, OH/Bexley) 
posted back-to-back shutouts in the NCAC Men's Soccer Tournament. He led 
the Battling Bishops to their fifth tourney title in six years by making 
10 saves over the two games. He has not allowed a goal in six straight 
games, dating to Oct. 15.

Wittenberg senior midfielder Levi Van Reeth (Norwich, OH/John Glenn) 
scored once in the Tigers? 7-1 victory over Wabash, then followed with 
the game-tying goal in Wittenberg?s 1-1 double overtime tie with 
Wooster. The Tigers had fallen behind, 1-0, in the second half when Van 
Reeth evened things up with an unassisted goal, securing the team?s 
first-ever appearance in the NCAC Tournament.

Kenyon junior Yoni Geffen (Encino, CA/Harvard-Westlake) scored for the 
first time this season.  The goal proved to be the game winner in a 2-1 
decision over Earlham.

Earlham freshman Victor Anciano (San Antonio-Altos, Venezuela/Armand 
Hammer) helped the Quakers to a 2-2 double-overtime tie with Hiram. The 
Terriers were up 1-0 at the half, and then scored early in the second 
period. Anciano put the Quakers on the board with a goal at 52:22, then 
converted a penalty kick at the 84:05 mark to tie tha game. Anciano 
leads Earlham with 10 goals this season.

Wooster senior forward Brian Conaway (Twinsburg, OH/Twinsburg) had a hand 
in all four Scot goals last week. In a 2-0 win over Hiram, he set up the 
first goal and scored the second. He also accounted for both goals in a 
2-1 win over Earlham, including the game-winner via penalty kick during 
the 77th minute. Conaway is just three points shy of becoming the third 
Scot in school history to total 100 for his career.

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore midfielder Nick Skoczen (Chagrin Falls, OH/
Kenston) provided the difference with 2:52 left in a 2-1 decision over 
Hiram.  Skoczen also had two assists in a 3-2 decision over Ohio 
Northern, including one on the overtime game-winner.

September 25, 2005

Oberlin sophomore Samuel Zackheim (Portland, OR/Lincoln) found the back 
of the net to hand the Yeomen a 1-0 win over Wooster. After being shut 
out in each of the last three years against Wooster, Oberlin returned 
the favor, shutting down the host Fighting Scots in both schools' NCAC 
opener. The win gave Oberlin its first win over the Scots in five years. 
The Oberlin win also halted Wooster's six-game unbeaten streak.

Wooster senior Brian Conaway (Twinsburg, OH/Twinsburg) led the Scots to 
a 2-2 tie against 13th ranked Calvin after the team had trailed 2-0 with 
just over 10 minutes left.  He converted a penalty kick with 10:16 
remaining, then assisted on the game tying-goal less than five minutes 
later.

Wabash sophomore midfielder Gary Simkus (Highland, IN/Highland) scored 
both goals in a 2-1 victory over Benedictine.  Both goals came off headers, 
and the second and game-winning score came in the final six minutes of the 
match. The win was the first for the Little Giants after they started the 
season 0-3.

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore forward Damon Wilson (Mullica Hill, NJ/St. 
Andrews, DE) scored what proved to be the game-winner in a 3-1 defeat 
of Fredonia State, then set up the game-winning goal in overtime against 
Greensboro.
