Wittenberg's Seay Tabbed to AP All-America Team

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Associated Press announced the 2018 Division III All-America Football teams on Thursday, Dec. 13 and Wittenberg’s Jonathan Seay (Miramar, Fla./Miramar) represented the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) as a second-team honoree.

The senior linebacker recorded 77 tackles, forced three fumbles and intercepted two passes in 2018 for the Tigers. He was also named to the D3football.com All-North Region and was the recipient of the NCAC’s Hank Critchfield Award, which goes to the conference’s defensive player of the year. Seay was also an All-NCAC first-team defense selection.

Seay represents the 37th AP All-American in Wittenberg program history.
