DePauw has raced out to a perfect 4-0 mark in NCAC play and has allowed just one goal in its first four conference contests. This week features a full boat of conference matches with just a pair non-conference tilts Sunday featuring DePauw taking on SAA foe Rhodes and Wooster traveling to Transylvania.

DENISON rebounded from its first loss of the season with a 4-0 shutout victory at Wittenberg on Wednesday. Sophomore Lizzy Pellicane (Short Hills, NJ/Morristown-Beard) provided the game winner in the 16th minute. The Big Red added three more goals in the second half to secure the win. After playing its first six games on the road, Denison will play six of its next seven games at Deeds Field in Granville.

DEPAUW picked up two NCAC victories against Oberlin and Wooster this week. Against Oberlin, the Tigers got goals from Maggie Campbell (Winnetka, IL/New Trier) who scored on Paige Henry’s (Louisville, KY/Kentucky Country Day) pass and Kate Jovanovic (St. Charles, MO/Barat Academy) who provided the game-winning goal with 29:10 left in the first-half. On Sunday, the Tigers took down Wooster, 2-0. Henry scored DePauw’s first goal and Chelsea Cutler (Victoria, B.C./Mt. Douglas Secondary) added a goal in the second-half to seal the deal. With the pair of conference wins, the Tigers extended their NCAC win streak to 18.

EARLHAM dropped a pair of North Coast contests last week, falling to Wooster, 3-0, before a, 3-0, setback against Oberlin on Sunday.

KENYON won a pair of NCAC games this past week. Wednesday, the Ladies recorded their first shutout with a 2-0 win over Ohio Wesleyan. Saturday, the Ladies offense took center stage and exploded for a 6-1 win at Wittenberg. Sophomore midfielder Maddie Breschi (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) posted a five-point week with the game-winning assist in the win over OWU and two goals Saturday versus Wittenberg.

OBERLIN put up an inspiring fight against DePauw, but ultimately fell short in a 2-1 loss. Playing in her first game of the season, junior Claire Yeske (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park Forest) netted the Oberlin goal in the final minute off a penalty corner. However, the Yeowomen rebounded to defeat Earlham, 3-0. Junior Elizabeth Raskin (Sharon, MA/Cambridge School of Weston) netted her second goal of the season, while rookieJennifer Krakower (San Diego, CA/Canyon Crest Academy) scored her first collegiate goal.

OHIO WESLEYAN bounced back from its, 2-0, loss versus Kenyon to earn an, 8-0, non-conference win over Bethany on Saturday. Sophomore attacker Montana Knapp (San Diego, CA/Patrick Henry) and senior attacker Sadie Slager (Hudson, OH/Hudson) scored two goals apiece to lead Ohio Wesleyan in the win.

WITTENBERG dropped two home matches this week, first a 4-0 decision to Denison followed by a 6-1 loss to Kenyon. Sophomore Andrea Mattingly (Louisville, KY/Mercy Academy) scored the Tigers’ only goal.

WOOSTER put together a 1-2 record last week with the Scots knocking off Earlham in an NCAC contest, 3-0, Saturday. Meredith Farley (Saratoga Springs, NY/Saratoga Springs) recorded a .893 save percentage during three games, highlighted by a career-high 19 saves as she kept Wooster within striking distance of DePauw before the Tigers eventually prevailed 2-0 on Sunday.
