The complete tournament bracket will be available following the conclusion of Sunday’s contest.

DENISON clinched a spot in the NCAC Tournament after a pair of wins this weekend at Earlham and at DePauw. Britta Marden’s (Belmont, MA/Belmont) goal in the final minute of the first overtime sent Denison to a 2-1 win over the Tigers. The Big Red is 9-3 in the NCAC with games left against Wooster and Kenyon.

DEPAUW went 1-1 over the weekend with a 3-0 win over Kenyon and a 2-1 OT loss to Denison. DePauw is now 11-4 overall and 10-2 in the NCAC. Sophomore Paige Berliner (New Albany, OH/Columbus Academy) scored twice in the win for the Tigers. DePauw closes out the regular season with a pair of conference games this week, at Earlham on Wednesday and then hosting Ohio Wesleyan Saturday.

EARLHAM dropped both its NCAC contests last week, falling to Denison, 7-1, on Saturday and then 4-0 to Kenyon on Sunday. The Quakers return to action on Wednesday when they host DePauw and close out their NCAC schedule on Saturday against Wittenberg.

KENYON made the quick tour of Indiana this past weekend and came away with a conference split. Saturday, the Ladies suffered their first NCAC loss of the season, a 3-0 defeat at DePauw. Sunday, the team bounced back against Earlham. Using two goals from senior Maddie Breschi (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle), the Ladies notched a 4-0 win over the host Quakers.

OBERLIN was six minutes away from its first conference win of the season, but Ohio Wesleyan evened the match late and then scored in overtime to earn a 2-1 win over the Yeowomen. Oberlin also fell at Wittenberg 4-1 on Sunday afternoon. Junior Ariana Enzerink (Davis, CA/Davis Senior) scored against the Bishops on a penalty stroke, while sophomore Dillon Sebastian (Takoma Park, MD/Montgomery Blair) netted her first goal of the season against the Tigers.

OHIO WESLEYAN won a pair of crucial NCAC wins last week in overtime to pull the Bishops into a tie for fourth heading into the final week of the regular season. On Wednesday Ohio Wesleyan defeated Wooster, 3-2, thanks to a goal from junior Haley Savoie (San Diego, CA/Del Norte) then knocked-off Oberlin, 2-1, Friday behind an overtime goal from Montana Knapp (San Diego, CA/Patrick Henry). The Bishops will battle to get into the NCAC Field Hockey Tournament as they host Wittenberg on Wednesday before traveling to face DePauw on Saturday.

WITTENBERG split a pair of weekend home games, losing in overtime to Wooster before beating Oberlin on Senior Recognition Day. Freshman forward Blaine Donnelly (Hanover, MD/Archbishop Spalding) scored Wittenberg’s lone goal against Wooster and then tallied twice against Oberlin. The Tigers close out the regular season this week starting with a huge matchup on Wednesday against Ohio Wesleyan.

After dropping a 3-2 heartbreaker in overtime at Ohio Wesleyan, WOOSTER bounced back for a weekend sweep. The Scots took down rival Wittenberg 2-1 in double overtime Saturday and then closed out non-league play with a decisive 4-2 victory at Transylvania on Sunday. Junior forward Leah Prescott (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Mendon) scored the game-winner under a minute into Saturday’s second extra session against the Tigers then assisted on two of the Scots’ four goals against Transylvania.
