    Kenyon field hockey head coach Jacque DeMarco, who just completed her fifth season at the helm, was named Thursday the Front Rush / National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year. It was the second time in the past three seasons DeMarco earned the award.

    Junior Katelyn Hutchinson (Pottstown, PA/St. George’s School) converted on a penalty stroke in overtime to lift third-seeded Kenyon (14-6) to its fourth NCAC Field Hockey Tournament title, 2-1, over top-seeded DePauw (17-4) on Saturday November 5th in Greencastle, Indiana.

Wittenberg (8-8-0, 6-6-0) and Wooster (8-9-0, 6-6-0) each play a pair of NCAC contests this week in the fight for the final spot in the tournament.   • DU's Caravana Named Acting Field Hockey Coach

    Denison University has announced that Michael Caravana will serve as acting head coach of the Big Red field hockey team for the upcoming 2016 season, while the program's current head coach, P.J. Soteriades, is away on maternity leave. Caravana will remain in his current role as head coach of Denison's men's lacrosse program, and he will coach both programs through the fall.
