DePauw (7-1, 10-3), Kenyon (7-2, 9-4) and Denison (6-2, 9-3) continue to sit at the top of the NCAC field hockey standings with three full weeks left in the conference schedule. Seven NCAC games are scheduled this week, beginning with Wooster (3-5, 5-8) visiting Earlham (2-6, 5-8) on Friday and ending with Kenyon traveling to Ohio Wesleyan (3-5, 5-7) on Sunday.

In DENISON'S only match of the week, the Big Red defeated Wooster, 4-0. Freshman Charlotte Happel (Louisville, KY/Louisville Collegiate) and junior Tori Rapillo (West Harrison NY/School of the Holy Child) each scored one goal, while junior Jen Durbin (Ann Arbor, MI/Huron) and senior Abby Martone (St. Louis, MO/John Burroughs School) each had one assist and scored one goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Ellen Westfall (Worthington, OH/Thomas Worthington) made seven saves on her way to her sixth shutout of the season.

DEPAUW remained on top of the NCAC standings with two wins last week, the first against Earlham, 4-0, and the second versus Wittenberg, 3-1. Senior Addie Ball (Winnetka, IL/North Shore Country Day) recorded two assists against Earlham and a goal and an assist against Wittenberg. DePauw sits at 10-3 and 7-1 in conference.

EARLHAM looks to snap a four-game losing streak this weekend when Wooster and Oberlin come to Darrell Beane Stadium.

KENYON picked up a huge non-conference win when the Ladies upset Christopher Newport last week. In the win, head coach Jacque DeMarco became Kenyon’s all-time wins leader (65). On Saturday the Ladies defeated Wooster, 4-1, in large part due to junior midfielder Weezie Foster’s (Reisterstown, MD/Friends School) first-career hat trick.

OBERLIN was idle last week.

OHIO WESLEYAN earned an impressive NCAC victory last week, defeating Earlham, 5-0. Junior Paige Haenig (Hollidaysburg, PA/Pine-Richland) led the Bishops with one goal and two assist for four total points. Junior Jackie Feliciano (Glen Ellyn, IL/Glenbard West) stopped two shots in the cage for the Bishops.

WITTENBERG dropped its lone contest last week at DePauw, 3-1. Riley Trexler (Louisville, KY/Atherton) scored her 14th goal of the season in the loss.

WOOSTER sophomore Rose Taylor (Oak Park, IL/Oak Park & River Forest) scored her second goal over the last three games with a tally at Kenyon on Saturday, while freshman Harriet Sudduth (Louisville, KY/Atherton) contributed the assist for her first collegiate point. Wooster closes out a span of seven games in an eight-game stretch on the road with a trip to Indiana to face Earlham and DePauw this weekend.
