  • Denison Leads NCAC In Final Learfield Standings
    June 01, 2018
    Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, four North Coast Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top-70 of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, led by Denison finishing 44th out of 323 eligible institutions with 382.00 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship event during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.
  • Denison Wins Record 16th NCAC All-Sports Title

    Denison won two outright league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's lacrosse, shared the league title with Kenyon in field hockey and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2017-18 academic year to win its league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • DePauw Names Thomas As Next Field Hockey Coach

    Lauren Thomas, assistant field hockey coach at Ohio Wesleyan, has been named DePauw's head field hockey coach. Thomas replaces Erika Burcher who resigned in February.
  • Dixon Selected as Wooster's Head Field Hockey Coach
    April 10, 2018
    Jill Dixon, most recently the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Wesley College in Dover, Del., will be the next field hockey head coach at The College of Wooster, announced the school's director of athletics, Keith Beckett, on Monday. Dixon's official start date is July 1.

  • NCAC Trio Named To NFHCA All-America Team

    Led by Kenyon senior Shannon Hart (Mandara, Harare, Zimbabwe/Hellenic Acad.) landing on the first team, three North Coast field hockey players were named to the 2017 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-America Team, it was announced on December 6th.
  • Kenyon's Hart Named Regional Player of the Year

    Postseason accolades continued to roll in for the Kenyon Ladies field hockey team as senior midfielder Shannon Hart (Mandara, Harare, Zimbabwe/Hellenic Acad.) was named as the Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Great Lakes Region Player of the Year on Thursday, November 30th.

    DePauw University posted top-five finishes in six of the seven fall championship sports to take the early lead in the race for the 2017-18 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports championship.

    After 88 mintutes of scoreless action in the opening round of the 2017 NCAA Division Field Hockey Tournament, Denison saw its season come to an end in dramatic fashion on Wednesday (11/9) afternoon in Lexington, Virgina, as Washington & Lee (15-6) got a goal from Haley Tucker in the 89th minute to give the Generals a 1-0 home win over the Big Red.

    Kenyon (5-0, 8-1) remained the lone unbeaten team in NCAC play and sits atop the league standings after defeating Ohio Wesleyan (0-5, 2-6) and Wittenberg (3-2, 5-3) last weekend. The Ladies’ eight wins through their first nine games marks just the second time the program has hit that mark dating back to 1986, most recently done in 2015.

    Earlham (1-2, 1-3) defeated Ohio Wesleyan for the first time in 14 years, 3-1, last Saturday to secure a conference victory for the third consecuative season. Kenyon (3-0, 6-1) and Wittenberg (3-0, 5-1) sit atop the league standings as the final two unbeaten teams in league play. NCAC action continues this week with a contest scheduled Thursday, four Saturday and three more on Sunday.

    Following the first week of conference play, Kenyon (1-0, 4-1), Wittenberg (1-0, 3-1), Wooster (1-0, 3-1) and DePauw (1-0, 2-2) sit atop the league standings with eight NCAC contests scheduled this week. Wittenberg is off to its first 3-1 start since 2009 and looks to improve to 4-1 through five games for the first-time since 2004 when the Tigers host Wooster on Saturday in Springfield.
