DePauw senior forward Paige Henry scored three goals in the Tigers’ victory over Wittenberg on Friday. Henry now has a team leading 19 goals on the season. She also ranks first in the NCAC in goals and is the co-leader in points with 40.

October 28th  
Maddie Breschi, Kenyon

Kenyon sophomore midfielder Maddie Breschi put together a huge week for the Ladies. In games against Denison and Oberlin, she racked up a total of five goals and an assist. Her 11-point week gives her 40 points on the season, which has tied the Kenyon single-season record. Additionally, her updated total of 16 goals on the season puts her just one shy of tying another Kenyon single-season record.

October 21st

Wooster junior forward Taylor Thorp tied a single-game conference record with five goals at Earlham, then helped give Wooster a 1-0 lead at DePauw, assisting the game’s opening goal late in the first half. Against Earlham, Thorp scored four goals less than 20 minutes into the action, connecting at the 5:28, 9:10, 16:29, and 19:38 marks, and in the second half, she assisted on one score before her NCAC-record tying fifth. Five-goal conference games have occurred just four other times in the NCAC’s 30-year history, and it is believed to be the most by a Wooster player since 1981 when Cindy Runnette had a series of six- and seven-goal games.

Denison senior goalie Laura Campbell played all 210 minutes in cage, helping Denison to three NCAC shutout wins. The week was highlighted by a 2-0 shutout victory versus first-place, DePauw on Sunday. In the match, Campbell posted two key saves in the second half.  The final save versus the Tigers came in the 69th minute of play.  Campbell boasts a .778 save percentage this season while owning a miniscule 0.86 GAA.

Denison senior midfielder Katie McMahon racked up three goals and an assist in two Big Red victories last week. At Oberlin, McMahon scored an unassisted goal in the 20th minute, and followed that up with another goal in the 34th minute off an assist from Taylor Bacon (Mission Hills, KS/Pembroke Hill School). McMahon also picked up an assist on Greta Finney’s (Baltimore, MD/St. Timothy’s School) score in the 51st minute against the Yeowomen. On Saturday against OWU, the senior erased the Bishops’ one-goal lead with a goal from the top of the shooting circle in the 24th minute. McMahon currently leads the NCAC in points (22) and co-leads the conference with six assists.

Denison senior midfielder Katie McMahon racked up four goals and an assist in two Big Red victories last week. Against Wooster, McMahon scored the first three goals of the second half in the 36th, 53rd and 54th minutes. The senior’s third-career hat-trick extended DU’s lead to 4-0.  On Saturday against Kenyon, the senior assisted on the Big Red’s first goal by Taylor Bacon (Mission Hills, KS/Pembroke Hill School) in the 24th minute. In the 33rd, she recorded an unassisted tally on a breakaway.

Kenyon sophomore midfielder Maddie Breschi posted a five-point week during two Ladies wins. In a 2-0 win against Ohio Wesleyan, Breschi assisted on the game-winning goal. Three days later, she scored two goals in a 6-1 win at Wittenberg. She now has six goals and four assists on the season.

DePauw junior forward Paige Henry scored the lone goal in 1-0 win over Kenyon and the first goal in the 2-0 victory over Denison. The Tigers have now won 16 straight NCAC regular season contests dating back to 2012.

September 9th

Kenyon junior forward Rachel Hall was the spark that ignited the Ladies on an 11-goal barrage over two weekend games. Hall uncorked 23 shots over those two games and found the opponents’ cage five times. She had an assist to boot and now leads the Ladies with six goals, two assists, and 14 points on the season.

September 3rd

Wooster freshman forward Kerry O’Connor got her career off to a strong start with eight points (2 goals, 1 assists) in just two games. She accounted for both of Wooster’s goals in the game versus Wesley and notched her first career assist in the win over Bethany.
