Allegheny junior Patrick Fritz helped guide the Gators to their first tournament title since the 2010 season at the Carnegie Mellon Edward Jones Shootout. Fritz finished in a tie for third in the individual standings after carding a two-day total of 148 (75-73), which marked his second-lowest 36-hole score of his career.

DePauw senior Taylor Beaty sparked the Tigers second tournament victory of the season after earning medalist honors at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling. Beaty carded a two-round total of 152 (77-75) to help the Tigers (306-328=634) edge out Centre by three strokes in the team standings.

Wittenberg sophomore Tyler Yaple shot a personal-best round of 67 in the second round of the Camp LeJeune Intercollegiate Gold Championship and totaled 218 strokes to finish tied for 32nd at the highly competitive national event. The Tigers, who were the only NCAC squad to qualify for the Gold Championship, finished 13th overall with 880 strokes (293-284-303).

Denison freshman Dylan Francis was the Big Red’s top finisher at the Muskingum Invitational in sixth place after firing a two-day total of 144, including a career-low round of 69 on Day 1.

Wittenberg freshman Nicole Waers broke the 36-hole round school record with 152 strokes to finish 10th at the Washington (MO) Spring Invite, including a 73 on day two, which was two strokes better than the previous single-round school record. The Tigers shot a program best, 36-hole round score of 622 to finish in fourth overall, including a 307 on Sunday, which set the program benchmark for 18 holes.

Wooster senior Michael Peters fired a team-low round of 76 in the Fighting Scots’ match play loss against the Methodist “B” squad on March 20th at the Anderson Creek G.C. in Spring Lakes, North Carolina.

Wooster sophomore Rainey Sullivan finished in a tie for fifth in the individual standings at Mount Union’s Spring Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Club in Alliance, Ohio, last weekend. Sullivan surpassed her previous career-low 18-hole score of 84 in both rounds at the tournament as she opened with an 82 on day one and then carded an 83 on day two.

Denison sophomore Dylan Lee helped guide the Big Red to the team championship at McDaniel’s Myrtle Beach Shootout at the Barefoot Landing Golf Resort in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Lee tied for second in the individual standings with an 18-hole score of 74 to help DU rise to the top of the team standings with a one-day total of 305.

Wittenberg senior Jordan Millice secured medalist honors at the Denison Fall Classic after carding the fourth-best 36-hole round in school history with a two-day total of 140 (68-72). He helped the Tigers secure two school records at the event as well, as the two-round total of 567 eclipsed the former 36-hole school record of 585, and the final round 283 surpassed the former 18-hole school record by two strokes.
