2019 NCAC Golfers of the Week

September 3rd

Tyler Pham, Allegheny
(Pembroke Pines, FL/The Sagemont School)

Allegheny sophomore Tyler Pham brought home the individual title at the Olivet Invitational, shooting rounds of 71 (-1) and 72 (E) for a total of 143 (-1). He was the only golfer to finish under par and his performance helped lead the team to a first-place finish among 13 teams at the invitational. 


Anna Foley, DePauw
(Toronto, Ontario/Humberside Collegiate Institute)

DePauw senior Anna Foley tied for second at Denison’s Lynn Schweizer Invitational after shooting a 153 (75-78). Foley’s performance helped the No. 6-ranked Tigers to their first victory of the season, combining for a two-round score of 643. The top-five finish is Foley’s seventh in her career.

September 9th

Nick Burris, DePauw
(Bloomington, IN/Bloomington South)

DePauw senior Nick Burris finished second at Franklin College’s Dick Park Invitational after shooting a six-under, 138. He shot a four-under, 68, in the opening round and a two-under 70 in the second to finish one stroke off of the lead. The team won the tournament with a 585 (291-294). For the season, Burris is averaging a 71.2 with two top-five finishes.


Emmy Timberlake, Denison
(Charlottesville, VA/ Charlottesville)

Denison senior Emmy
Timberlake earned medalist honors after playing 36 holes at the Safari Fall Invitational. Timberlake fired an even-par 72 on Saturday and followed that up with a 73 on Sunday. Her two-day total of 145 broke the program’s 36-hole scoring record of 148 held by Brynn FitzGerald. Her performance also helped Denison win its first tournament of the 2019-20 season.

September 16th

Eric Lifson, Kenyon
(Sudbury, MA/Lincoln-Sudbury Regional)

Kenyon junior Eric Lifson took home medalist honors as the Lords won Adrian’s Irish Hills Intercollegiate Invitational this past weekend. Lifson shot an opening-round 73 and followed that up with a three-under 69 on Saturday. Additionally, Lifson’s 142 tied him for the third-best 36-hole score in program history.


Camille O'Halloran, Allegheny
(Northfield, NJ/Mainland Regional)

Allegheny freshman Camille O’Halloran finished tied for second at the Heidelberg Invitational, shooting equivalent rounds of 83 between the two days. In round one, she helped lead Allegheny to its best team round (347) since September 2017 at the Carnegie Mellon Fall Shootout.

September 23rd

Ben Kiesel, Wabash
(Evansville, IN/Reitz Memorial)

Wabash senior Ben Kiesel tied for third individually at the Stateline Shootout hosted by Mount St. Joseph University over the weekend. The senior shot an opening round 73, his lowest 18-hole score of his collegiate career on Saturday. Kiesel carded a 152 over two rounds to earn the third top-five finish of his career. Wabash finished third out of six teams competing at the tournament.


Emmy Timberlake, Denison
(Charlottesville, VA/ Charlottesville)

Senior Emmy Timberlake led Denison with a two-day score of 151 (+7) to finish in second place at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Classic over the weekend. She was also named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing in the top-five. The Big Red won the event, defeating three nationally ranked teams, including No. 4-ranked Rhodes and No. 14-ranked DePauw.

September 30th

Evan Ferrara, Wooster
(Kent, OH/Roosevelt)

Wooster senior Evan Ferrara logged his third top-five finish of the fall on Sunday. The Scots’ No. 1 fired a 75 to finish in third-place at the Baldwin Wallace Fall Invitational. The Scots finished third overall at the tournament. 


Alexis Reichardt, Ohio Wesleyan
(Waldo, OH/River Valley)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Alexis Reichardt led the Bishops at the Blue Devil Classic, hosted by Lawrence Tech. Reichardt turned in rounds of 81 and 82 to tie for for 13th place with a 163.

October 7th

Sam Davis, Denison
(Lake Forest, IL/Lake Forest)

Denison’s Sam Davis led the way for the Big Red at the Centre College Fall Invitational. The freshman posted a one-over-par 73 on the heels of an opening-round 72 to place him in a tie for third place overall. His efforts also helped Denison take home the team title for the first time this season.


Alexis Reichardt, Ohio Wesleyan
(Waldo, OH/River Valley)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Alexis Reichardt overcame a four-shot deficit to win medalist honors at Wooster’s Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational. Reichardt had an 87 on Saturday to finish the day in eighth place. On Sunday, she carded a 78 to equal the best round of the day, finishing the tournament with a 165, garnering medalist honors by a single shot. Her 78 tied for sixth place on the all-time Bishop single-round list.

October 14th

Matthew Del Rosso, Allegheny
(Pittsburgh, PA/Central Catholic)

Allegheny junior Matthew Del Rosso helped lead the Gators to their best start to a season since 1997-98 as he tied for second at the Nazareth Invitational while the team took first. Del Rosso shot rounds of 73 and 76 for a total of 149. The Gators are four-for-four in winning tournaments this season.


Camille O'Halloran, Allegheny
(Northfield, NJ/Mainland)

Allegheny freshman Camille O’Halloran won the Nazareth Invitational by five strokes with rounds of 86 and 82. O’Halloran led Allegheny to the overall victory, the first time the women’s golf team has won multiple invitationals in the fall semester since 2010.

October 21st

Ben Scherman, Denison
(Wilmette, IL/Loyola Academy)

Denison sophomore Ben Scherman took home medalist honors at the Virtues Fall Shootout after carding seven birdies during the final round to finish with a new career-low round of 68 (-4) and a three-under-par 141. Sunday’s 68 bested his previous career-low of 69 set during the second round of the Camp Lejeune Intercollegiate this past April. Denison finished second overall at the tournament.


Emmy Timberlake, Denison
(Charlottesville, VA/Charlottesville)

Denison’s Emmy Timberlake  was the individual champion at the Gray Wolf Invitational hosted by Lourdes University. The senior fired-off a single round of 79 to help Denison win the invitational, its third team victory of the season.

October 28th

Sophia Alexander, Denison
(Fishers, IN/Cathedral)

Denison sophomore Sophia Alexander finished tied for 10th among 89 golfers at the Chick-fil-A Intercollegiate last week. After posting a 76 during the first round, Alexander led the Big Red with a second-round score of 77 (+5) behind four total birdies, including three on the front nine.

November 4th

Marc Mitchell, Denison
(Atlanta, GA/Pace Academy)

Denison sophomore Marc Mitchell was named to the all-tournament team at the O’Briant-Jensen Memorial after tying for third place with a two-day score of 140. Mitchell led the 120-player field with 11 birdies across 36 holes, shooting rounds of 68 and 72 at the tournament.
