  • NCAC Led By Newton & Robinson At Indoor Nationals

    The 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Saturday (3/11) afternoon at the Al. B Carius Track on the campus of North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Following the two days of competition, seven student-athletes from the NCAC posted All-American performances, highlighted by a pair of national championship efforts.

    The North Coast had 38 student-athletes recognized as 2016-17 All-Great Lakes Region Indoor Track & Field performers by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday, March 6th.
  • 10 NCAC Athletes Qualify For Indoor Nationals

    The 2017 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to take place this weekend, March 10-11, at the Al. B Carius Track on the campus of North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. In total, 10 student-athletes will represent the NCAC in 11 different events this weekend in Illinois.

    The Ohio Wesleyan men won their second-straight league title at the 2017 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Oberlin College’s John W. Heisman Club Fieldhouse in Oberlin, Ohio.
  • Yeowomen Win 1st Indoor Title Since 2009

    The Oberlin Yeowomen won their first outright women’s championship in history at the 2017 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Oberlin College’s John W. Heisman Club Fieldhouse in Oberlin, Ohio.
  • 2017 NCAC Indoor T&F Championships Central

    The 2017 North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend, March 3-4, at the John W. Heisman Club Fieldhouse on the campus of Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. After a seven-year championship draught, the Oberlin women are seeking to overtake Ohio Wesleyan for the league crown, while the OWU men are in search of their second-straight title and their ninth overall. Both squads have been selected as the favorites heading into this year’s meet based on pre-championship balloting by the league coaches.

    The first scoring events of the 2017 NCAC Indoor Track & Field championships will be conducted on Saturday February 25th at Wooster. The men will compete in the heptathlon, while the women will participate in the pentathlon. The 2017 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will then be contested the following weekend, March 3-4, at Oberlin.

    The Ohio-based NCAC track & field squads competed at Otterbein last Saturday for the annual All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw hosted Wabash and 11 other institutions for the DePauw Invitational. League squads will return to the circuit this weekend, led by Kenyon hosting its annual home invitational on Saturday in Gambier.

    Wooster hosted four NCAC squads last weekend for the Fighting Scots Invitational, with Wittenberg earning first-place honors in the men’s standings and Oberlin collecting first-place in the women’s standings. A number of the Ohio-based NCAC squads will travel to Granville this weekend as Denison hosts its annual Bob Shannon Invite.

    Five NCAC squads-Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, Wittenberg and Wooster-will compete at the Fighting Scots Invitational this weekend in Ohio as the indoor schedule continues. In all, eight of the nine programs will be competing, with Allegheny and Ohio Wesleyan traveling to the SPIRE Midwest Open and Wabash competing at the Engineer Invitational, hosted by Rose-Hulman.

    Ohio Wesleyan opened up the 2017 portion of its track schedule by hosting the Ron Althoff Classic and taking home both team titles in impressive fashion. This week Allegheny, Denison and Kenyon will all open up the 2017 portion of the indoor track season as Allegheny and Kenyon are both traveling to Wooster, while Denison is hosting its annual Lid-Lifter.

Conference teams will return to the circuit in early January, while the 2017 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships are set for March 3-4 at Oberlin College.
