  • Five T&F/XC Athletes Named Academic All-Americans

    Five North Coast Track & Field and Cross Country student-athletes were named to the 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III Cross Country/Track & Field Teams, it was announced on Tuesday, June 19th.
  • Denison Leads NCAC In Final Learfield Standings

    Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, four North Coast Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top-70 of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, led by Denison finishing 44th out of 323 eligible institutions with 382.00 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship event during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.
  • 5 Named To XC/T&F Academic All-District Team

    The 2017-18 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's & Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Teams were released on May 29th with five student-athletes from the NCAC being named to a first team.
  • Denison Wins Record 16th NCAC All-Sports Title

    Denison won two outright league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's lacrosse, shared the league title with Kenyon in field hockey and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2017-18 academic year to win its league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • Kenyon Leads NCAC Schools In Learfield Standings

    Kenyon College currently sits in 46th-place to lead all North Coast Athletic Conference member institutions in the 2017-18 Division III Learfield Directors' Cup winter standings.
  • Robinson's Title Leads All NCAC Athletes At Nationals

    The 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Saturday (3/10) afternoon at the CrossPlex, hosted by Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. Following the two days of competition, five student-athletes from the NCAC posted All-American performances, highlighted by Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Cirrus Robinson (Ashland, OH/Ashland) winning the national title in the women's high jump for the second year in a row.
  • 9 NCAC Athletes Qualify For Indoor Nationals

    The 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships are set to take place this weekend, March 9-10, at the CrossPlex on the campus of Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama.   • Newman Named Great Lakes Field Athlete of the Year

    Ohio Wesleyan senior Nate Newman (Chillicothe, OH/Zane Trace) was named the 2017-18 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Div. III Great Lakes Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year, it was announced by the association on March 7th.
  • Oberlin Trio Earns Top USTFCCCA Regional Honors

    Oberlin College senior thrower Monique Newton (Sacramento, CA/Rancho Cordova), along with coaches Ray Appenheimer and John Hepp earned regional recognition from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
  • DePauw Maintains Lead In 2017-18 All-Sports Race

    DePauw University won one winter sport league title and finished in the top-five in three additional sports to maintain its lead in the race for the 2017-18 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • 36 NCAC Student-Athletes Earn All-Region Honors

    The North Coast had 36 student-athletes recognized as 2017-18 All-Great Lakes Region Indoor Track & Field performers by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday, March 5th.
  • OWU Captures 3rd-Straight Men's Indoor Title

    The Ohio Wesleyan University men won their third-straight league title at the 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Wabash College’s Johnson Track/Knowling Fieldhouse in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The Bishops accumulated 140 team points to win the team title for the third year in a row, while Wabash finished second behind OWU for the third consecutive season with 125 total points.
  • Oberlin Claims 2nd-Straight Indoor T&F Title

    The Oberlin College Yeowomen won their second-straight league title at the 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Wabash College’s Johnson Track/Knowling Fieldhouse in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The Yeowomen topped the team standings at the two-day meet with 197.50 points, which was 20 points better than Ohio Wesleyan's second-place total of 177.50. 
  • NCAC 2018 Indoor T&F Championships Central

    The Ohio Wesleyan men won their third-straight league title and the Oberlin Yeowomen won the women's crown for the second year in a row at the 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Wabash College's Johnson Track/Knowling Fieldhouse on the campus of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

    The first scoring events of the 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field championships will be conducted on Saturday, February 24th at Denison. The men will compete in the heptathlon, while the women will participate in the pentathlon. The 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will then be contested the following weekend, March 2-3, at Wabash.

    The Ohio-based NCAC track & field squads competed at Otterbein last Saturday for the annual All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw hosted Wabash and 11 other institutions for the DePauw Invitational. League squads will return to the circuit this weekend, led by Kenyon hosting its annual home invitational on Saturday in Gambier.

    Wooster hosted five NCAC squads last weekend for the Fighting Scots Invitational, with Wittenberg earning first-place honors in both the men and women’s standings. A number of the Ohio-based NCAC squads will travel to Granville this weekend as Denison hosts its annual Bob Shannon Invite.

    Six NCAC squads-Allegheny, Denison, Kenyon, Oberlin, Wittenberg and Wooster-will compete at the Fighting Scots Invitational this weekend in Ohio as the indoor schedule continues. In all, eight of the nine programs will be competing, with Ohio Wesleyan traveling to the SPIRE Midwest Open and Wabash competing at the Engineer Invitational, hosted by Rose-Hulman, and the Fred Wilt Open hosted by Purdue.

    North Coast indoor track & field squads wrapped up the 2017 portion of the schedule last week with two teams in action at three different events. Conference teams will return to the circuit in early January, while the 2018 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships are set for March 2-3 at Wabash College.

    The 2017-18 North Coast indoor track & field season kicked off last weekend with numerous league schools competing at season-opening events, highlighted by the Oberlin women winning the Case Western Spartan Holiday Classic. There will be two NCAC squads in action this week while the rest of the conference will be idle until after the holiday break.
