March 2
Denison freshman Dee Salukombo (Lakewood, OH/Lakewood) placed fourth in the mile at the Denison Last Chance meet. He crossed the line in 4:18.72.   Denison senior Michael Barnes (Gates Mills, OH/Mayfield) won the 400 meters with a time of 51.44 at the Denison Last Chance meet. He also anchored the first-place 4x400-meter relay that crossed in 3:29.93.   Wooster junior Jon Mathis (Tallmadge, OH/Tallmadge) cleared 6 feet in the high jump at the Denison Last Chance meet and placed second.
February 22
Ohio Wesleyan senior Clay Davis (Dublin, OH/Coffman) finished 16th in the 3000 meters at the Kent State Tune-Up. He crossed the line with a time of 8:57.
Oberlin junior Seth Wimberly (Covington, GA/Eastside) paced 20th in the 400 meters at the Kent State Tune-Up with a time of 49.93 seconds. He also competed in the 200 meters and finished with a time of 22.92 seconds.
Earlham sophomore Chad Wertman (Holland, IN/Southridge) won the shot put at the DePauw Classic. His throw of 15.63 meters/51 feet, 3.5 inches was an NCAA provisional qualifying distance.
February 15
Allegheny sophomore Ryan Hanson (Presto, PA/Chartiers Valley) posted a provisional qualifying effort in the 5,000 meters (14:46.67) at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. He was also part of a distance medley relay that broke a school record and qualified for the national meet with a time of 9:57.42, the best effort in NCAA Division III this season.
Ohio Wesleyan senior Nathan Osborn (Edgerton, OH/Edgerton) was part of the first-place 4x200-meter relay that set a meet and school record at the All-Ohio Championships. The relay finished in 1:20.54. Osborn was also part of the second-place 4x400-meter relay that finished in school-record time (3:25.50) and he was fourth individually in the 400 meters (50.93 seconds).
Ohio Wesleyan junior David Burke (Hudson, OH/Hudson) placed third in both the long jump (6.81 meters/22 feet, 4.25 inches) and triple jump (13.69 meters/44 feet, 11 inches) at the All-Ohio Championships.
February 8
Allegheny junior Tony Dipre (Twinsburg, OH/Walsh Jesuit) won the mile at the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational with a time of 4:15.00.
Oberlin sophomore Solomon Turner (Greensboro, NC/Deerfield Academy) won the 200 meters (22.69) and was second in the 55 meters (6.57) at Oberlin's Crimson & Gold Invitational. Turner was also part of the second place 4x200 meter relay that finished in 1:32.55 and the 4x400 meter relay that was clocked at 3:26.28.
Allegheny senior Joe McMahon (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin) won the long jump (20-10.75) and triple jump (44-11) at the Baldwin-Wallace Invitational.
February 1
Allegheny's 5,000-meter combination of junior Ryan Hanson (Presto, PA/Chartiers Valley) and sophomore Chris Marker (Arlington, VA/Yorkstown) won their event at the NCAC Relays. Hanson posted the top individual time in the event at 15:10.73, while Marker's was fourth-best at 15:16.79.   Ohio Wesleyan's 4x400-meter relay nearly set a meet record en route to winning the event at the NCAC Relays. The combination of senior Preston Osborn (Edgerton, OH/Edgerton), senior Ryan Ellis (Columbus, OH/Dublin Scioto), sophomore Sean Patrick (Delaware, OH/Hayes) and senior Nathan Osborn (Edgerton, OH/Edgerton) finished in 3:26.92, just .64 of a second off the meet record, set by the Battling Bishops in 2008.   Earlham sophomore Chad Wertman (Holland, IN/Southridge) and junior Chris Shaw (Anderson, IN/Pendleton Hts.) combined to win the shot put relay at the NCAC Relays. The duo posted the top two throws on the day, with Wertman throwing 49 feet, 4.25 inches and Shaw throwing 47 feet, 9 inches.
January 25
Allegheny junior Tony Dipre (Twinsburg, OH/Walsh Jesuit) finished fifth in the 3,000 meters at the Kent State Invitational. His time was 8:30.4.
Wooster junior Bryan Albani (Warren, OH/Howland) won the 55-meter hurdles at the non-scoring Denison Lid-Lifter. He out ran the field with a time of 7.87 seconds.
Junior Kyle Faris (Olmsted Falls, OH/Olmsted Falls) of Ohio Wesleyan won the shot put and the weight throw in a quadrangular meet hosted by the Battling Bishops. He tossed the shot 47 feet, 8 inches and tossed the weight 42 feet, 7 inches, to top both fields.
