Oberlin senior Clara Shaw (Roseville, MN/Roseville) won the 800 meters in 2:16.95 at the Denison Last Chance meet.

Wittenberg sophomore Kari Domiano (Dublin, OH/Coffman) won the 55 meters (7.64) and 200 meters (26.88) at the Denison Last Chance meet.

Oberlin senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord-Carlisle) won the first-ever NCAC Pentathlon. She scored 2,920 points to top the nine-competitor field.

Ohio Wesleyan junior Kat Zimmerly (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) won the mile at the Ohio State Invitational. She finished in 5:01.26, which met the NCAA provisional qualifying standard, and set a school record.

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Calina Hilyard (Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington) posted the best time in the North Coast this season in the 400 meters with a 59.93 clocking at the Ohio State Invitational. She also finished the 200 meters in 27.60 seconds.

Earlham sophomore Elizabeth Ross (Davie, FL/Pine Crest) won the high jump at the DePauw Indoor Classic. She cleared 5 feet, 2.25 inches to top a field of 12 competitors.

Oberlin junior Joanna Johnson (Chico, CA/Chico) placed sixth in the 5,000 meters at the Boston University Valentine Invitational. Her time of 17:17.91 was an NCAA provisional qualifying effort.

At the All-Ohio Championships, junior Lainey Kekic (Canfield, OH/Western Reserve) of Ohio Wesleyan placed fifth in the 400 meters (1:00.98) and was part of the third-place 4x200-meter relay. The relay crossed the line in 1:48.98.

Wooster freshman Abena Bomah-Acheampong (Reynoldsburg, OH/Pickerington Central) won the high jump at the All-Ohio Championships. She cleared 1.58 meters/5 feet, 2.25 inches.

Ohio Wesleyan junior Kat Zimmerly (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) won the mile run by a margin of 12 seconds (5:15.76) at the Greater Columbus Championship, hosted by Capital on Saturday, Feb. 6. She added a fifth-place finish in the 800-meter run (2:26.18).

Ohio Wesleyan junior Lainey Kekic (Canfield, OH/Western Reserve) posted second-place finishes in the 60- (8.34), 200- (26.90), and 400-meter (1:01.46) dashes and the long jump (4.92m, 16-01.75) at the Greater Columbus Championship, hosted by Capital on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Allegheny sophomore Lauren Butler (New Kensington, PA/Kiski Area) topped the field in the shot put (11.84 meters, 38 feet, 10.5 inches) at Mount Union’s Jim Wuske Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 6.

Ohio Wesleyan seniors Sarah Shinn (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) and Kara Reiter (Chardon, OH/Chardon) combined with juniors Rachael Newman (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) and Kaitlin Zimmerly (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) to win the distance medley at the NCAC Relay meet. They posted a time of 12:30.33. Oberlin senior Clara Shaw (Roseville, MN/Roseville Area), senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord Carlisle), freshman Marissa Clardy (Kittanning, PA/Kittanning Senior), and junior Amanda Miller (Toledo, OH/Cardinal Stritch) were the first-place 4x400-meter relay team at the NCAC Relays. They finished in 4:06.22, a school- and meet-record time. Ohio Wesleyan sophomores Hannah Phlipot (Van Wert, OH/Van Wert) and Samantha Smyth (Falmouth, ME/Falmouth) combined to win the shot put relay at the NCAC Relays. Phlipot’s effort of 12.21 meters/40 feet, 0.75 inches gave her first place individually. Samantha, who was fourth individually, scored a distance of 11.14 meters/34 feet, 5.5 inches.

Oberlin junior Joanna Johnson (Chico, CA/Chico) won the 3,000 meters at the Baldwin-Wallace Mid-January meet. She set a school record with her time of 10:16.64. Oberlin senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord-Carlisle) won the 400 meters (1:02.29) and was part of the first-place 4x400 relay and second-place 4x200 relay at the Baldwin-Wallace Mid-January Meet. Ohio Wesleyan junior Lainey Kekic (Canfield, OH/Western Reserve Academy) won the triple jump (34-0.25), long jump 16-4.25) and high jump (5-0.25) at the OWU tri-meet.
