18 Named To 2013-14 NABC Honors Court

2013-14 NABC Honors Court

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2013-14 Honors Court on Monday (July 21) and 18 of the record-setting 895 players on the list hailed from NCAC institutions.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria which include the following:

  • Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player
  • Cumulative grade-point-average of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year
  • Student-athletes myst have matriculated at least one year at their current institution
  • Member of an NCAA Div. I, II, III, or NAIA Div. I or II institution with an NABC member coach

The NABC will announce its Team Academic Excellence Awards on Wednesday, July 23.
