The Ohio Wesleyan University men's basketball team has been selected as the NCAA Division III Team of the Week by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, it was announced by the NABC on Tuesday, February 20th.

The NABC Team of the Week recognizes one team each week from NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and NJCAA/2-year colleges.

Last week, Ohio Wesleyan defeated then-fifth-ranked Wittenberg, 85-80, wiping out a 19-point first-half deficit on the way to the win, which was the Bishops' second vicotry over a top-5 opponent this season.  On Saturday, Ohio Wesleyan wrapped up the regular season with a 99-64 win over Allegheny, connecting on 23 shots from three-point range to tie an arena record for three-point field goals and set an arena standard for three-point marksmanship.  The wins raised the Bishops' record to 17-8.

This week, the Bishops open NCAC Tournament play by hosting Wabash in a quarterfinal game at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Branch Rickey Arena.
