Ohio Wesleyan Claims Inaugural NCAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament

Second-seeded Ohio Wesleyan (13-5) claimed the inaugural NCAC Men's Lacrosse Tournament with an 10-9 victory over top-seeded Denison (13-3) on Saturday evening in Granville. Battling Bishop junior attacker Casey Helms (Sandwich, MA/Bridgton Academy) scored what proved to be the deciding goal and sophomore goalkeeper Ryan McMahon (Springfield, VA/The Bullis School) made a crucial save during the final minute of regulation time to help OWU edge the 13th-ranked Big Red and earn the NCAC's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III tournament. CLICK HERE to access the tournament website, where you can view tournament stats and the championship recap.
