Ohio Wesleyan (3-0, 9-2), Wooster (3-0, 7-3) and Denison (2-0, 8-2) all remain undefeated in conference play and sit atop the NCAC standings heading into another full week of league play. This week, OWU hosts Wittenberg (2-1, 4-5), the Big Red hosts Hiram (0-3, 5-4) and travels to Oberlin (0-3, 5-5), while the Scots host Kenyon (2-1, 6-3) and DePauw (0-2, 3-8).

DENISON, ranked eighth in the most recent USILA poll, improved to 8-2 after victories over Middlebury, 12-7 and Wittenberg, 19-6. The Big Red got four goals and eight assists from sophomore attack Peter Pittroff (Charlotte, NC/Charlotte Country Day) in the two games. He is second in the nation in assists per game at 3.70.

DEPAUW wrapped up the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 22-5 loss to Union (NY). Ben Davis (Shaker Heights, OH/University School) paced the Tigers with two goals and one assist.

HIRAM went 1-1 last week, securing a 17-5 victory over Bethany, Wednesday night, and closing out the weekend by dropping a 20-7 decision to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. In the victory over the Bisons, seven Terriers scored a goal, including three apiece from Hunter Jenkins (Solon, OH/Solon), Justin Dionne (Orlando, FL/Timber Creek) and Nick Rollason (Pickerington, OH/Pickerington North).

KENYON had last week off but will return to action on April 3 at Wooster and host Wittenberg on April 7.

OBERLIN suffered a pair of set backs, dropping a 13-12 decision at home against Otterbein before succumbing to a 19-11 defeat at Wooster on Friday night. Senior John Sutherland (Wellesley Hills, MA / Belmont Hill) scored eight goals on the week, including a career-high five against the Scots.

OHIO WESLEYAN, ranked 11th in the most recent USILA poll, captured a pair of wins last week, defeating John Carroll on Wednesday and Hiram on Saturday. Junior Max Tennant (Englewood, CO/Cherry Creek) finished with 13 goals on the week, including a game-high seven in the victory over John Carroll.

WABASH led Calvin in the third period before the host Knights rallied for a 10-7 victory Saturday. Steven Stark (Indianapolis, IN/Cathedral) paced the Wabash offense, scoring three goals and adding one assist in the losing effort.

WITTENBERG saw its three game win streak come to an end following a 19-6 loss to Denison. Junior Jack Strahm (Upper Arlington, OH/Upper Arlington) led the Tigers with three goals and one assist.

WOOSTER improved to 3-0 in NCAC play for the third straight year with a 19-11 win over Oberlin on Friday night. The Scots jumped out to a 9-2 lead after one period of action and led 16-4 at halftime. Sophomore Wesley Wagner (Collegeville, PA/Cardinal Gibbons (NC)) recorded a season-high 12 saves, and etched his name in the scoring column. Wagner set the tone early with his first career goal less than five minutes into the game. The sophomore found himself with space in his own defensive zone after an Oberlin turnover, turned on the jets and sprinted from crease to crease down the center of the field, splitting each layer of defense before firing it into the back of the net for his first-career goal.
