  • Denison Leads NCAC In Final Learfield Standings
    June 01, 2018
    Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, four North Coast Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top-70 of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, led by Denison finishing 44th out of 323 eligible institutions with 382.00 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship event during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.
  • Denison Wins Record 16th NCAC All-Sports Title

    Denison won two outright league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's lacrosse, shared the league title with Kenyon in field hockey and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2017-18 academic year to win its league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.

  • Kenyon's Myers Named Academic All-American
    December 05, 2017
    Kenyon senior men's soccer player Henry Myers (Lebanon, OH/Archbishops Moeller) was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America team on Tuesday, December 5th. A second-team selection, Myers became just the fourth player in program history to earn Academic All-America recognition.

    The United Soccer Coaches released the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region squads on November 29th with six NCAC student-athletes named to one of the three Great Lakes Region teams.

  • Kenyon Falls to Otterbein in NCAA Second Round

    The Kenyon men's soccer team lost, 3-2, to Otterbein in the second round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament on Sunday, November 12, in Westerville, Ohio. The Lords finished the year with a record of 16-3-3, including their third straight NCAC Championship after posting a conference record of 9-0-0.

    Kenyon junior midfielder Alberto Carmona (Katy, TX/Seven Lakes), Wabash senior defender Spase Dorsuleski (Crown Point, IN/Crown Point) and Kenyon senior forward Henry Myers (Lebanon, OH/Archbishop Moeller) were named the Players of the Year to highlight the 2017 All-North Coast Athletic Conference men’s soccer selections.
  • OWU Falls In Opening Round Against JCU

    Ohio Wesleyan freshman midfielder Drew Wivell (Gettysburg, PA/Gettysburg Area) scored to erase a 1-0 deficit, but No. 20 John Carroll got the go-ahead goal early in the first half and went on to post a 3-1 victory over the Bishops in the first round of the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament on Friday night in University Heights, Ohio.

    Kenyon senior men's soccer players Henry Myers (Lebanon, OH/Archbishop Moeller) and Billy O'Neill (Kohler, WI/Kohler Senior) were both selected to the 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District squad, it was released on Thursday, November 9th.

    North Coast Athletic Conference tournament champion Ohio Wesleyan (12-6-2) extended its NCAA record by earning its 40th-straight berth into the 62-team NCAA Div. III Men’s Soccer Tournament. Kenyon (15-2-3) also earned a berth into the tournament field for the fifth-straight year and 14th time overall after clinching one of the 19 Pool C at-large bids. 2017 marks the 10th-straight year the North Coast will be represented by multiple teams in the national field.

    After 110 minutes of scoreless action and a 2-2 tie after the first five penalty kicks in the championship match of the 2017 NCAC Men’s Soccer Tournament between top-seeded Kenyon (15-2-3) and second-seeded Ohio Wesleyan (12-6-2), the Bishops booked their ticket to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Tournament for a record 40th time in history on the sixth PK opportunity.

In a light week of action, the Little Giants and Lords will square off on Saturday in Gambier.

Conference play continues this week with four games on Saturday and one on Sunday.

    Kenyon (4-1-2, 0-0-0) is currently riding a five game unbeaten streak after a pair of non-conference draws last week. Kenyon continues to impress defensively having allowed just four goals through its first seven contests. The Lords will host Heidelberg on Thursday, and then will open league play Saturday against Wittenberg (1-6-1, 0-0-0). In other conference action set to start Saturday, Wabash (4-2-0, 0-0-0) travels to Hiram (2-4-0, 0-0-0), DePauw (2-2-1, 0-0-0) visits Wooster (4-3-0, 0-0-0), Allegheny (3-3-0, 0-0-0) hosts Denison (2-4-0, 0-0-0) and Ohio Wesleyan (3-3-0, 0-0-0) visits to Oberlin (3-2-1, 0-0-0).

Through five games, the Lords have allowed just three goals for a league best 0.58 goals against average through the second full weekend of games in 2017. Non-conference action continues this week with games scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    Oberlin College senior men's soccer player Timothy Williams (Rabun Gap, GA/Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School) had a strong start to his senior season as he was named the United Coaches National Player of the Week and the North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
