Five NCAC Players Named To NFCA All-Central Region
Led by first-team selection Rebecca Dyer (Shelby Township, MI/Detroit Country Day) of Denison, the NCAC had five student-athletes selected to the 2014 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Central Region Softball Team.

Dyer {right}, who was named NCAC Pitcher of the Year, was the lone first-team selection after posting a 1.47 ERA and striking out 133 in 105 innings pitched during her senior year.

Wittenberg's Abby Baker (Canfield, OH/Canfield), who earned NCAC Newcomer of the Year and first-team All-Conference honors, was named to the second-team.

Denison junior Julie Rooney (Munroe Falls, OH/Stow-Munroe Falls), Wittenberg sophomore Loren Combs (Cincinnati, OH/Turpin) and Hiram senior Sarah Loyer (Barrie, Ontario/St. Joseph's) were third-team selections.
