Zang, who was named NCAC Pitcher of the Year for the second-straight season, was a first-team selection after posting an 18-3 record and allowing just 24 earned runs and striking out 80 hitters in 139.2 innings of action for a 1.20 earned-run-average in her junior year. Curnutte earned first-team all-conference honors and joined Zang as an All-Central Region first-team selection after posting a .381 batting average with 27 RBI, 16 runs scored and five home runs.
NCAC Player of the Year, Wooster junior Maddy Chase (Pleasant Prairie, WI/St. Joseph's), was named to the second-team. Chase was joined on the second-team by fellow all-NCAC first-team performers, Denison sophomore Laura Bagan (Winnetka, IL/New Trier) and DePauw senior Gabby Smart (Chicago, IL/Trinity).
Denison junior Lauren Secares (Wilmette, IL/New Trier) was named to the All-Central Region third team.
All-Region players are nominated and selected by NFCA member coaches in each of the eight Division III regions. First Team All-Region choices are eligible for selection to the NFCA All-America team, which will be announced the evening of May 24 online at NFCA.org and in person at the NCAA Division III Championship banquet in Oklahoma City.
