45 Softball Players Net NFCA Academic Awards
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced 45 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) softball student-athletes were tabbed as All-America Scholar Athletes for the 2018-19 season. The organization also recognized the Kenyon and Oberlin softball teams for their success in the classroom with team awards.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Nine North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) institutions appeared in the final 2018-19 Division III Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings. Denison led all conference schools, compiling 409.5 points for a 39th-place finish.

Eight total players from the North Coast were named to the 2019 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-Central Region Team, highlighted by DePauw freshman Cami Henry being selected as a first team honoree.

DePauw (31-12) captured its third-straight and fifth overall North Coast Athletic Conference softball tournament championship after defeating Denison (22-14), 6-5 (8 inn.), in game 6 of the 2019 NCAC Softball Tournament on Sunday in Greencastle, Indiana.
