    Recent Kenyon College graduate and four-year member of the Ladies swimming and diving team, Ellie Crawford (Las Vegas, NV/Meadows School) ,was named one of nine finalists still in contention for the 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year award.

    The Top 30 honorees for the 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year Award have been named by the Woman of the Year selection committee. Among the selections, announced Wednesday, was Ellie Crawford, a recent Kenyon College graduate and former Ladies swimmer.

    The NCAC is proud to announce that two of the 145 female student-athletes nominated for the 2017 NCAA Woman of the Year Award are recent graduates from conference schools, including Kenyon swimmer Ellie Crawford (Las Vegas, NV/Meadows School) and Denison basketball player Jordan Holmes (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon).

  • 6 NCAC Winter Athletes Earn NCAA Postgrad Awards

    The NCAA recently announced its NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship recipients for the winter sports season and six of the 58 athletes on the list hailed from an NCAC institution, including four from Kenyon College and two from Denison University.
  • Eight NCAC Athletes Named Academic All-America

    Led by five first-team selections, eight total student-athletes from the NCAC were named to the 2016-17 CoSIDA Academic All-America® Division III At-Large Team, it was announced on Tuesday, June 6.

    The 2016-17 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Men's & Women's At-Large Teams were released on May 11th with 10 student-athletes from the NCAC being named to team in the seventh district.

  • Conover & Levy Win Titles On Night 4

    While the NCAC’s 34-year championship run at the national meet was snapped this year, several league squads still found themselves high in the final team standings at the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships, led by the Kenyon Lords finishing second in the men’s standings for the second year in a row with 384 points and the Kenyon Ladies checking in at third in the women’s standings with 381 points.
  • Big Red Cap Off Night 3 With Title In 800 Free Relay

    Denison’s national title in the men’s 800 free relay was the top performance for NCAC athletes on Friday night at the 2017 NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas. Through 29 total events in Texas, NCAC student-athletes have collected four national titles, 44 All-American performances and 32 additional Honorable-Mention All-American efforts.
  • DU's Lindell & Levy Win National Titles On Night 2

    Two more individual event national titles highlighted Thursday night’s action by NCAC student-athletes at the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. Through 20 total events at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas, NCAC athletes have combined for three national titles, 35 total All-American performances and 23 additional Honorable-Mention All-American efforts.

    The 2017 NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships will be held over a four-day period at the CISD Natatorium in Shenandoah, Texas. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) will serve as the host for the event that will run from Wednesday, March 15, through Saturday, March 18.
  • DePauw Maintains Lead In 2016-17 All-Sports Race

    DePauw University won one winter sport league title and finished in the top-five in four additional sports to maintain its lead in the race for the 2016-17 North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • Three NCAC Divers Qualify For National Meet

    Fourteen NCAC student-athletes participated in the 2017 NCAA Division III Diving Regionals last weekend. Divers from Denison, DePauw, Kenyon, Wabash and Wooster competed at the Region I event at Calvin College’s Venema Aquatic Center, while Allegheny divers traveled to New York for the Region 4 event, held at Ithaca College’s Aquatics Pavilion on the same dates.

    Denison successfully swept the team titles at the 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships for the eighth time in the last nine years on Saturday night at the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University. It marked the ninth-straight title for the Big Red men and the ninth all-time for the women's squad.

    The Denison men and women both hold the top spot in their respective team standings following day three of competition at the 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships, held at DU's own Trumbull Aquatics Center. The Big Red men won all seven events on Friday night and have compiled 1,299 points over the first three days of action, while the DU women won five events on night three to sit atop the team standings with 1,433 points.

    The Denison men and women continue to lead the pack after the second full day of competition at the 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships at the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University. The Big Red women won two individual events and both relays on night two to sit in first place with 712 points, while the men's squad also took home four total titles to lead the standings with 665 points after night two.

    The Denison men and women lead the 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships after the first night of competition on Wednesday at the Trumbull Aquatics Center on the campus of Denison University. The DU men accumulated 70 total points after winning the 800 free relay with an NCAC-record time of 6:34.29, while the Big Red women hold the lead after night one with 210 total points.

    While several NCAC swimming & diving teams concluded the regular season portion of their schedules last week, a handful of squads will conclude their training schedules this weekend, led by Ohio Wesleyan hosting Denison on Saturday morning. The 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championships are set for February 8-11 at Denison’s Trumbull Aquatics Center in Granville, Ohio. A conference-wide preview of the event will be available next Friday, February 3rd.

    Several North Coast swimming & diving squads were in action over the holiday break on training trips in Florida, highlighted by the DePauw women winning the St. Pete’s Classic on New Year’s Day. Nearly every league team returns to the pool this week, led by Kenyon competing at the Cincinnati Quad Meet and Denison taking on Florida State and Pittsburgh.

    NCAC Swimming & Diving teams wrapped up the first half of the 2016-17 season last weekend with numerous teams in competition at multi-day invitational events, led by the Denison men winning their fourth-straight team title at the Miami (OH) Invitational and the Allegheny men capturing the team title at the SUNY-Fredonia Blue Devil Invite. League teams will now return to their training schedules in early January, while the 2017 NCAC Swimming & Diving Championship are set for February, 8-11, at Denison.
