    Recent Oberlin College graduate and cross country and track & field runner Geno Arthur (Camarillo, CA/Rio Mesa) has been selected as the recipient of the 2016 North Coast Athletic Conference Don Hunsinger Award.

    Allegheny College Director of Athletics Portia Hoeg has announced the hiring of Justin Linzy as the Gators' head men's and women's track and field coach.
  • Denison's Brennan Named Academic All-American
    June 23, 2016
    After being named to the CoSIDA District 4 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team in late may, recent Denison graduate Aedin Brennan (Fairport, NY/Allendale Columbia) was one of 15 student-athletes in Division III to be named to the 2015-16 CoSIDA Academic All-America Women's Track & Field/Cross Country First Team on June 22nd.
  • 10 NCAC T&F Student-Athletes Earn AA Honors

    The 2016 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships came to a close on Saturday (5/28) afternoon at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. Following the three days of competition, 10 different NCAC student-athletes combined for 13 All-American performances, highlighted by Wooster senior Hilary Coady (Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia/Choate Rosemary Hall, CT) finishing second overall in the women’s decathlon with 5,020 points.
  • 28 NCAC Athletes Qualify For NCAA T&F Meet

    The 2016 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend, May 26-28, at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. The NCAC will once again be well represented at the national meet as all nine schools that sponsor track & field will have at least one representative at the meet. In total, 28 student-athletes are set to compete in Iowa, with six of the 28 scheduled to compete in multiple events.
  • OWU Sweeps 2016 NCAC Outdoor T&F Titles

    The Ohio Wesleyan men’s and women’s teams swept the team titles at the 2016 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.
  • NCAC Outdoor T&F Championships Central

    The 2016 North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend, May 6-7, at Piper Stadium on the campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio. League coaches conducted pre-championship polling last week and have predicted that Ohio Wesleyan will sweep the 2016 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. It would mark the 11th-straight league crown for the women, while the men will be aiming to collect their eighth title all-time and their first since 2010.
  • DU's Romick Wins Wooden Citizenship Cup

    On Wednesday night in Atlanta, Denison senior football and track & field athlete Luke Romick (Lebanon, OH/Lebanon) was named the collegiate recipient of the 2016 Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup. Romick was one of five finalists for the prestigious award and was the only finalist from a NCAA Division III institution.

    The first scoring events of the 2016 NCAC Track & Field championships will be conducted this weekend, April 30-May 1, at Oberlin. The men will compete in the decathlon, while the women will participate in the heptathlon. The 2016 NCAC Track & Field Championships will then be contested the following weekend, May 6-7, at Denison.

    The Ohio-based NCAC track & field squads competed at Ohio Wesleyan last Saturday for the annual All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw hosted Wabash and a grouping of HCAC institutions for the Indiana Division III Championships in Greencastle, Indiana. League squads will return to the circuit this weekend, led by Kenyon hosting its annual home invitational on Saturday in Gambier.

    North Coast schools had a busy weekend on the track & field circuit despite battling cold temperatures as four league teams hosted home events, led by Ohio Wesleyan capturing both team titles at the annual Marv Frye Invitational in Delaware, Ohio. The Ohio-based NCAC squads will again travel to Ohio Wesleyan this weekend for the All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw will host Wabash and a grouping of HCAC institutions for the Indiana Division III Invitational.
