  • Five T&F/XC Athletes Named Academic All-Americans

    Five North Coast Track & Field and Cross Country student-athletes were named to the 2017-18 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III Cross Country/Track & Field Teams, it was announced on Tuesday, June 19th.
  • Denison Leads NCAC In Final Learfield Standings

    Following the completion of the 2017-18 NCAA Division III competition season, four North Coast Athletic Conference schools ranked in the top-70 of the Learfield Directors' Cup standings, led by Denison finishing 44th out of 323 eligible institutions with 382.00 total points. Schools must have competed in an NCAA Championship event during the academic year in order to compile points in the standings.
  • Newton Named National Field Athlete of the Year

    Oberlin senior thrower Monique Newton (Sacramento, CA/Rancho Cordova), a two-time national champion, was named NCAA Division III Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Thursday, May 31.
  • 5 Named To XC/T&F Academic All-District Team

    The 2017-18 College of Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)/Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's & Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Teams were released on May 29th with five student-athletes from the NCAC being named to a first team.
  • 3 Earn Titles At NCAA Outdoor Championships

    The 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships concluded on Saturday (5/26) at The Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of UW-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Following the three days of competition, three NCAC student-athletes earned national titles in individual events and six additional athletes earned top-eight All-American finishes in their respective events.

    The 2018 NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend, May 24-26, at the Roger Harring Stadium and Veteran Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
  • Denison Wins Record 16th NCAC All-Sports Title

    Denison won two outright league titles in men's swimming & diving and women's lacrosse, shared the league title with Kenyon in field hockey and posted 14 additional top-five finishes during the 2017-18 academic year to win its league-leading 16th North Coast Athletic Conference All-Sports Championship.
  • OWU Wins 9th NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Title

    The Ohio Wesleyan men picked up their league-leading ninth outdoor title to wrap up the two days of competition on Saturday at the 2018 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Allegheny College’s Robertson Athletic Complex in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

    Oberlin won the women’s title for the second year in a row on Saturday at the 2018 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, held at Allegheny College’s Robertson Athletic Complex in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

    The 2018 NCAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held this weekend, May 4-5, at The Robertson Athletic Complex on the campus of Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The championship meet begins on Friday with field events beginning at 12:00 p.m. and running events starting at 3:00 p.m., and concludes on Saturday with field events starting at 10:00 a.m. and running events kicking off at 2:15 p.m.

  • NCAC Weekly Release - (4-23-18) - Outdoor Track & Field

    The first scoring events of the 2018 NCAC Track & Field championships will be conducted this weekend, April 28-29, at Oberlin. The men will compete in the decathlon, while the women will participate in the heptathlon. The 2018 NCAC Track & Field Championships will then be contested the following weekend, May 5-6, at Allegheny.

    The Ohio-based NCAC track & field squads competed at Ohio Wesleyan last Saturday for the annual All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw hosted Wabash and a grouping of HCAC institutions for the Indiana Division III Championships in Greencastle, Indiana. League squads will return to the circuit this weekend, led by Kenyon hosting its annual home invitational on Saturday in Gambier.

    North Coast schools had a busy weekend on the track & field circuit as three league teams hosted home events. The Ohio-based NCAC squads will travel to Ohio Wesleyan this weekend for the All-Ohio Championships, while DePauw will host Wabash and a grouping of HCAC institutions for the Indiana Division III Invitational.

    DePauw (4-0, 8-14) and Wittenberg (2-0, 9-11) sit atop the conference standings following the opening weekend of NCAC play. The Indiana Tigers picked up sweeps against Wooster (0-2, 7-13) and Hiram (0-2, 7-11), while the Springfield Tigers collected a pair of wins over Allegheny (0-2, 6-9). Conference play continues this week with four NCAC doubleheaders scheduled for Wednesday and three more on Saturday.

    Allegheny traveled south to compete in the two-day Emory Invitational, while Oberlin, Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg all competed in non-scoring meets this past week top open up the outdoor season. Wabash, who opened the outdoor portion of its schedule last week, finished third out of eight squads at the Wash. U Mini Invite. NCAC track & field continues in the week ahead, led by Allegheny, Kenyon, Oberlin and Wooster competing at the Wooster Invitational.

    A number of NCAC squads returned to the track to open up the outdoor season, highlighted by DePauw earning a second and sixth-place finish on the men’s and women’s side, respectively, at the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invite. NCAC track & field continues in the week ahead, led by Ohio Wesleyan and Wittenberg competing at the Dr. Jack Toms Alumni Invite hosted by Lynchburg College.
