Adam Togami, Wabash
(New Albany, IN/New Albany)

Wabash junior Adam Togami posted the top time among Division III competitors, finishing ninth overall at the Drake relays with a time of 9:09.43. Currently Togami’s time is the third-fastest in DIII this season.

Quenton Richards, Denison
(Franklin, OH/Franklin)

Denison junior Quenton Richards shined at the Big Red Invitational taking home the 100-meter dash title with a time of 11.14, while his time of 22.96 was the fastest in the 200-meter dash. Richards was also part of the third-place 4x100 relay team.

Nate Newman, Ohio Wesleyan
(Chillicothe, OH/Zane Trace)

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Nate Newman won the NCAC Outdoor Track & Field decathlon after totaling 5,815 points at Oberlin last weekend.

April 20th

 

Josh Urso, Oberlin
(Washington, PA/Trinity)

Oberlin junior Josh Urso won the 800-meter dash in 1:55.43 to help lead the Yeomen to a fourth-place finish at Kenyon’s Spring Invite.

Jerry Choi, Oberlin
(New Hyde Park, NY/Herricks)

Oberlin senior Jerry Choi bested the field in both the 200 and 400-meter dash events to lead the Yeomen at the Kenyon Spring Invite. In the 200, Choi clocked a time of 22.71, before topping the field of competitors in the 400 with a time of 50.60.

Mike Petro, Allegheny
(Bolivar, PA/Ligonier Valley)

Allegheny senior Mike Petro won the hammer throw with a heave of 184-6 to help guide the Gators to a fifth-place finish at the Kenyon Spring Invite.

 

April 13th

Zachary Geiger, Ohio Wesleyan
(New Concord, OH/John Glenn)

Ohio Wesleyan junior Zachary Geiger earned All-Ohio honors after winning the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:30.32 to help lead the Bishops to their first outdoor All-Ohio team title since 2010.

Joey Conti, Wabash
(Newburgh, IN/Castle)

Wabash senior Joey Contiwon the 400-meter dash at the All-Indiana Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship, breaking his own meet record with a winning time of 49.08. Conti also finished second in the 200-meters (22.45) to help the Little Giants to their third consecutive All-Indiana Title.

Derek De St Jean, Wabash
(St. John, IN/Hanover)

Wabash senior Derek De St Jean earned Outstanding Male Field Athlete honors at the at the All-Indiana Division III Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championship. De St Jean posted a pair of first-place finishes, starting with a win in the discus throw with a mark of 49.08 meters to break the meet record and another win in the hammer throw with a toss of 51.21 meters.

April 6th

 

John Sotos, Ohio Wesleyan
(Dublin, OH/Coffman)

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore John Sotos finished second in the 1,500-meter run at the Marv Frye  Invitational over the weekend with a time of 3:58.44.

Justin Yates, Wittenberg
(Dayton, OH/Bellbrook)

Wittenberg senior Justin Yates won the 400-meter dash at the “Coach Rob” Invitational crossing the line in a time of 49.15 to help guide the Tigers to a first-place finish.

Marcus Dozier, DePauw
(South Bend, IN/Riley)

DePauw junior Marcus Dozier won a pair of events at the DePauw Invitational last week. Dozier, who entered the weekend with the fourth-longest discus throw, improved his season’s best with a win at 50.96 meters. He also won the shot put at with a toss of 15.54 meters.

March 30th

Nick Boyce, Wabash
(Indianapolis, IN/Chatard)

Wabash senior Nick Boyce won the 5,000-meter run at the Washington University (St. Louis) Invitational over the weekend with a time of 14:27.64. His winning time is the quickest in the nation among Division III competitors.

Ronnie Posthauer, Wabash
(Ladoga, IN/Fountain Central )

Wabash senior Ronnie Posthauer won the 110-meter hurdles at the Washington University (St. Louis) Invitational with a time of 14.57, the quickest time in that event reported this season in DIII. He won the race by more than 4/10ths of a second. Posthauer also finished sixth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.41.

Aaron Port, Ohio Wesleyan
(Parma, OH/CVCA)


Ohio Wesleyan junior Aaron Port hurled the javelin for a distance of 56.46 meters and a second place finish at the non-scoring Black & Gold invite, hosted by Vanderbilt University. The throw currently leads all NCAC marks this year.

March 23rd

 

Nat Fox, Kenyon
(Leetsdale, PA/Quaker Valley Senior)

Kenyon junior Nat Fox finished 32nd (4:07.69) in the 1500-meter and 13th (9:09.20) in the 3000-meter at the unscored 49ers Classic this past weekend. His time in the 1500 is currently a top-three time in the NCAC.

 

Jadon Joyner, Ohio Wesleyan
(Brooklyn, NY/Hotchkiss (CT) School)

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Jadon Joyner won the 100- and 200-meter dashes in respective times of 11.43 and 22.25 at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational. His time in the 200 was a new meet record. Joyner also ran a leg on the winning 4x100 relay squad.

 

Jackson Pine, Kenyon
(South Burlington, VT/South Burlington)

Kenyon sophomore Jackson Pine hurled the javelin for a distance of 45.69 meters and a 12th-place finish at the unscored 49ers Classic, hosted by the University of North Carolina in Charlotte. The throw currently leads all NCAC marks this year.
