Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Emma Lisull (Ann Arbor, MI/Greenhills) met the NCAA Division III provisional qualifying standard in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase. She finished the event in 11:04.76 at the Hillsdale Invitational.

  The Wittenberg 4x400-meter relay combination of Kari Domiano (Dublin, OH/Coffman), Jordan Stafford (Springfield, OH/Greenon), Shawna Johnson (Ulrichsville, OH/Claymont) and Catherine Kuerbitz (Cleveland, OH/Regina) won the event at the Wilmington Invitational. They posted a time of 3:59.85.   Oberlin senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord Carlisle) won the NCAC Heptathlon at the conference’s multi-event championships. She successfully defended her title with 4,044 points.

Wittenberg sophomore Mary Pfeifer (Dublin, OH/Coffman) won the 10,000 meters at the All-Ohio Championships. Her time of 38:10 was a 20-second improvement of the school record.

  The Oberlin 4x400-meter relay team of senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord Carlisle), freshman Marissa Clardy (Kittanning, PA/Senior), junior Amanda Miller (Toledo, OH/Cardinal Stritch) and junior Laura Vernon (Gwynedd, PA/Gwynedd Mercy) won the event at the Division III All-Ohio Championships at Ohio Wesleyan. Their time of 3:58.53 set a school record.   Oberlin junior Laura Vernon (Gwynedd Valley, PA/Gwynedd Mercy) placed seventh in the pole vault at the Division III All-Ohio Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan. She cleared 10 feet even.

Allegheny senior Mia Symoniak (East Snyder, NY/Amherst) placed third of 31 runners in the 10,000 meters at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic. Her time of 36:14.62 was an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

  Ohio Wesleyan freshman Calina Hilyard (Upper Arlington, OH/Upper Arlington) was the top NCAC finisher in the 400 meters at the Marv Frye Invitational, hosted by OWU. She finished in 59.78, good for second in a 30-runner field.   Earlham junior Ramona Hemmings (Cleveland Hts., OH/Cleveland Heights) placed second in the triple jump (35-10.5/10.93m) at the Indiana Little State Championships on April 10.

Ohio Wesleyan junior Kat Zimmerly (Edinboro, PA/General McLane) placed fourth and qualified provisionally in the steeplechase at the Duke Invitational. Her time was 10:54.96 in the 3,000-meter event.

  Oberlin freshman Marissa Clardy (Kittanning, PA/Kittanning Senior) competed in the 200 meters (26.85), 400 meters (59.57) and both relays at the Duke Invitational on April 2-3. Her top placement was 14th of 52 runners in the 200.   Allegheny sophomore Lauren Butler (New Kensington, PA/Kiski Area) won the javelin, was second in the shot put and third in the hammer at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational on April 3. Her throw of 129 feet, 10 inches in the javelin set a meet record and met the NCAA provisional qualifying stardard. Butler threw a distance of 40 feet, 3.25 inches in the shot put and went 122 feet even in the hammer.

Oberlin senior Clara Shaw (Roseville, MN/Roseville) won the 1500 meters (4:47.67) and 5,000 meters (18:20.88) at the Wooster Invitational on March 27.

  Oberlin senior Madeline Schultz (Concord, MA/Concord-Carlisle) placed second in the 400-meter hurdles at the Wooster Invitational on March 27. She finished with a time of 1:05.65.   Ohio Wesleyan freshman Emily Amburgey (Germantown, OH/Preble Shawnee) won the high jump at the Cedarville Invitational on March 27. Her leap of 1.68 meters/5 feet, 6 inches, gave her first place, and was an NCAA provisional-qualifying mark. She also lept 4.79 meters/15 feet, 8.75 inches, for eighth place in the long jump.

Wittenberg sophomore Mary Pfeifer (Dublin, OH/Coffman) placed third in the 10,000 meters at the Rhodes Open. She finished in 38:31.97, which bested the school mark by nearly 23 seconds.

  Wittenberg sophomore Jordan Stafford (Springfield, OH/Greenon) was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the 400 meters at the Rhodes Open. She finished with a time of 58.60, which gave her ninth place.   Ohio Wesleyan senior Sharon Rymut (Broadview Hts., OH/Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) set a school record in the hammer at the Cincinnati Early Bird Relays. Her throw of 43.99 meters (144 feet, 3 inches) gave her eighth place. She also threw the discus 36.67 meters (120-3.5) to place 12th.
