Carey Lyons, Oberlin
(Tacoma, WA/Stadium)

Oberlin junior Carey Lyons set a school-record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Hillsdale GINA Relays with a time of 10:52.52. Her time is the fastest among league runners this season and is the ninth best time in the nation.

Paris Nahas, Wooster
(Massillon, OH/Tuslaw)

Wooster sophomore Paris Nahas ran the lead leg on the winning 4x100-meter relay (49.71) and also posted a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash (12.85) to lead the Fighting Scots at the Denison Big Red Invitational.

Aedin Brennan, Denison
(Fairport, NY/Allendale Columbia)

Denison sophomore Aedin Brennan re-set her own conference record in the NCAC Outdoor Track & Field heptathlon after totaling 4,860 points on Saturday at Kenyon.

April 21st    

Kristina Martin, Allegheny
(Holley, NY/Holley)

Allegheny senior Kristina Martin posted the league’s fastest time to date in the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Saturday at B-W’s non-scoring Sparky Adams Invitational with a winning time of 11:13.54.

Sierra DeLeon, Kenyon
(Upper Marlboro, MD/Maret School)

Kenyon senior Sierra DeLeon won three individual events and accounted for 30 of the Ladies’ 73 points at their own Spring Invitational on Saturday. She set Kenyon and Wilder Track records in the 100-meter dash (12.24) and 200-meter dash (24.99), and also posted a winning time of 14.85 in the 100-meter hurdles.

Tiffany Henry, Oberlin
(Hartsdale, NY/Edgemont)

Oberlin senior Tiffany Henry posted three top-three finishes in throwing events to lead the Yeowomen to a second-place finish at the Kenyon Spring Invitational. Henry won the discus (37.23 M), finished second in the hammer (43.88 M) and placed third in the shot put (11.08 M).

April 14th    

Cara DeAngelis, Ohio Wesleyan
(Norton, OH/Ellet)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Cara DeAngelis won a pair of events to guide the Bishops to a second-place finish at the All-Ohio Championships. She posted the top time in the nation this spring and broke the All-Ohio record in the 1,500-meter run with a winning time of 4:32.55 and also broke the tape in the 800-meter run in 2:18.00.

Sierra Wright, Ohio Wesleyan
(Loudonville, OH/Loudonville)

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Sierra Wright earned All-Ohio honors in two separate events as she finished second in the 400-meter dash (57.90) and ran a leg on the second-place 4x100-meter relay that broke the school record with a time of 49.22.

Meigan Day, Ohio Wesleyan
(Port Clinton, OH/Port Clinton)

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Meigan Day broke both the school and All-Ohio Championships record in the javelin with a winning toss of 132’03.00”. Day also finished eighth in last weekend’s All-Ohio Heptathlon event at Mount Union.

April 7th    

Sarah Jane Kerwin, Oberlin
(Chapel Hill, NC/Carrboro)

Oberlin sophomore Sarah Jane Kerwin crossed the line first for the Yeowomen in the 5,000-meter run (17:55.00) to lead the squad at their own Bob Kahn Invitational. Oberlin finished third out of six teams at the event with 121 points.

Tiffany Davis, Denison
(Nashville, TN/Pope John Paul II)

Denison senior Tiffany Davis won both sprint events to lead the Big Red to a 5th-place finish at Ohio Wesleyan’s Marv Frye Invitational. Davis broke the tape in the 100 in 12.19 then topped the field in the 200 with a time of 24.77. Both of Davis’ times rank as the top effort by an NCAC student-athlete this season.

Sarah Bechtel, Ohio Wesleyan
(Bellefontaine, OH/Bellefontaine)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Sarah Bechtel helped guide the Battling Bishops to the team title at their own Marv Frye Invitational by winning the pole vault competition with a leap of 12’01.50”. Her winning effort tops the list of NCAC student-athletes in the event this season and also ranks fifth in Div. III.

March 31st

Abbey Warth, Ohio Wesleyan
(Massillon, OH/Tuslaw)

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Abbey Warth finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:34.54 to lead the Battling Bishops at Marietta’s Don Frail Invitational.

Kiki Yewer, Denison
(Scarsdale, NY/Scarsdale)

Denison sophomore Kiki Yewer shined for the Big Red at the Carnegie Mellon Mini-Invite. She ran a leg on the 4x100-meter relay that broke the tape in a meet-record time of 50.04 and also topped the field in the 100-meter dash with personal-best time of 13.08.

Lexi Mochan, Allegheny
(Walworth, NY/Grenada)

Allegheny junior Lexi Mochan finished first in the hammer throw with a personal-best toss of 154’00.00” inches to help guide the Gators to a second-place finish at the Carnegie Mellon Mini-Invite. Her toss broke her own meet record in the event and is now the second furthest heave in program history.

March 24th

Jenna Willett, Kenyon
(Kensington, MD/Walter Johnson)

Kenyon senior Jenna Willett placed fourth overall in a field of 80 competitors in the 5,000-meter run at the Charlotte 49er Classic. Willett, the current record holder in the same event, rolled out a finish time of 17:22.85, which served as Kenyon's top finish of the day.

Hilary Coady, Wooster
(Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia/Choate Rosemary Hall, CT)

Wooster sophomore HilaryCoady took home fourth-place in both the open 100 hurdles (16.06) and the seeded 400 hurdles (1:03.85) at the Coastal Carolina Invitational on March 15th.


Sarah Bechtel, Ohio Wesleyan
(Bellefontaine, OH/Bellefontaine)

Ohio Wesleyan senior Sarah Bechtel finished 10th in the pole vault, clearing 11'07.75" at the Charlotte 49er Classic, one of two top-10 finishes for the Bishops.
