The Tigers entertain fourth-seeded Oberlin (4-4, 10-5) at 5:00 PM, while second-seeded Wooster (7-1, 13-3) welcomes third-seeded Denison (6-2, 9-6) at 7:00 PM.

    Wittenberg (8-0, 11-3) has claimed the top seed in the North Coast Athletic Conference tournament, which begins with semifinal match-ups on Wednesday. The Tigers entertain fourth-seeded Oberlin (4-4, 10-5) at 5:00 PM, while second-seeded Wooster (7-1, 13-3) welcomes third-seeded Denison (6-2, 9-6) at 7:00 PM. The championship game will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM at the site of the highest remaining seed to emerge from the semifinal round. The tournament winner receives the league’s automatic bid into the NCAA Div. III Tournament.

    Heading into the final week of the regular season, Wooster (7-0, 13-2) and Wittenberg (6-0, 9-3) have claimed the top two spots in the NCAC Tournament, scheduled for the first weekend in May. The Scots and Tigers will square-off Wednesday in Springfield with the winner earning the top seed and at least a share of the NCAC Championship.

    North Coast women’s lacrosse action continued last week as Wittenberg (5-0, 9-2) extended its regular season conference-winning streak to 27 with wins over Oberlin (2-2, 8-3) and DePauw (1-3, 5-7). Wooster (5-0, 10-2) extended the conference’s current longest winning streak to eight to keep pace with Wittenberg at the top of the league standings. Conference play continues this week, with three games scheduled Tuesday, one on Thursday and four more on Saturday.

    Wooster (3-0, 8-2), Wittenberg (3-0, 6-2) and Oberlin (2-0, 8-1) remained unbeaten in league action last week and sit atop the NCAC standings. Oberlin, who has won six-straight, scoring at least 11 goals in each of those contests, will square off with both Wooster and Wittenberg this week. The Yeowomen travel to Wittenberg on Tuesday as the Tigers put their 25-game NCAC regular season winning streak on the line and then Oberlin travels to Wooster on Saturday where the Fighting Scots have won seven-straight.

    Wittenberg (2-0, 5-1) extended its NCAC regular season winning streak to 24 after defeating Denison (0-1, 3-5), 18-17, in overtime. Oberlin (1-0, 7-1) is off to its best start at 7-1 since an 8-0 start in 2012, after concluding its spring break trip with a perfect 3-0 record. NCAC play continues this week with Ohio Wesleyan (0-0, 3-5) and Allegheny (0-0, 3-4) both scheduled to open up the league portions of their schedules.

    Oberlin (1-0, 4-1), Wittenberg (1-0, 4-1) and Wooster (1-0, 4-2) each earned their first NCAC win last week and sit tied atop the NCAC Women’s Lacrosse standings. League action continues this week as Denison (0-0, 3-3) is scheduled to open up NCAC play at home versus Wittenberg on Saturday.
