DU's Daniels Named Regional Coach of the Year

Denison's Amanda Daniels was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year after leading the Big Red to the NCAC championship and the program's 18th NCAA Tournament appearance in 2016.

In three years at DU, Daniels has led the Big Red to three straight NCAC Tournament championships and three consecutive trips to the NCAA Tournament.  This year, Denison was undefeated in NCAC play, going 8-0 while finishing the season with a record of 13-6.  Daniels was named the NCAC's Coach of the Year for the second time and junior midfielder Clair Ludlow was named to the IWLCA All-America team.

Daniels boasts a record of 37-18 (.673) while going 20-4 (.833) in NCAC contests in her career at DU.
